WCAvengers turn 7c

The troll general finally had made his move. He had come barreling through a hole in the wall carrying a heavy armoire it had picked up. With speed belying his size, the troll brought the heavy piece of furniture crashing into Iron Man's legs, who had been hovering in front of another rock troll. The incredible strength of the troll general and the ferocity of the attack caught Iron Man completely unawares. The armoire nearly crushed his legs -- even through the new armor. The golden avenger fell to the ground, barely managing to land on his feet.

"Hey, watch it!" said Hawkeye as a black cowled figure bounded past him into the next room. The archer's sharp eyes could only barely see how rapidly the caped crusader drew something out of his belt and hurled it toward the hulking form of the troll general. Hawkeye could hear, but not see, a hissing sound and a shriek from the troll, as the acid pellets hit their mark and made the troll recoil and rub its eyes.

Iron Man tried to recover as well as he could. Forced onto the ground by the crushing blow from the troll general, the golden avenger decided to forgo his repulsor rays and took advantage of the distraction provided by his black-costumed ally. Iron Man landed a solid punch to the side of the troll general's head.

The Scarlet Witch used the same tactic against the general as she had with its underling: Several pieces of debris fell from the ceiling, dislodged from the creation of this new hole in the structure's wall, and a huge chunk of plaster landed hard on the troll general's head, doing some more damage.

- Iron Man uses Perplex on himself to increase his own Attack (gotta be sure here) + 1 to 9.
- Iron Man attacks Ulik/Troll General > AV8 + 1 (Perplex) vs DV 15 > roll: 5+4=9 HIT. Ulik/Troll General takes 2 damage (thanks to the Outwit from Batman, with whom Iron Man shares 1 IAP).
- Scarlet Witch attacks Ulik/Troll General > AV8 vs DV15 + 1 (hindering) > roll: 4+3=7 MISS. re-roll thanks to her own PC: 4+6=10 HIT. Ulik/Troll General takes 1 damage after Toughness.
- Scarlet Witch will use PC on the first successful attack she can see.

The troll general was enraged. Acid, armored fists and plaster were raining down on its head. Harried by the concentrated attention and attacks of the heroes, it began flailing about, oblivious to the fact that its blind anger was making the structure's foundation unstable. Another huge piece of the ceiling fell onto it, hurting it further.

Iron Man saw his opportunity. Distracted as it was, the troll general hesitated for a moment, and Iron Man adjusted his armor's motoric relays. With a powerful punch, the golden avenger struck the troll general another heavy blow, and it fell to the ground unconscious. Iron Man's circuits needed a moment to recharge, however, and he still had another rock troll right in front of him.

"Way to go, Shellhead!" yelled Hawkeye as he dashed across the next room in an effort to gain a better perspective.

The house creaked as more of the roof fell down around the combatants, the loss of the walls had created too much stress for the house to bare. The heroes felt a sigh of relief at the fact that nobody was home. The Rock trolls seemed spurred on by the impending falling of the celing. The one menacing Ironman landed a few quick blows battering Ironman,

Meanwhile assessing the situation the smarter of the Hercules Brothers ran back motioning for his more slovenly brother to aid him... (editors note, next time i use him i'm totally changing his name to something more modern. Seems in character and i really don't want to have to retype Agygasyserwhatever.)

Gelonius followed and charged at Nightwing at the same time an old rock troll and the heavily armoured rock troll did. Nightwing dodged Gelonus and the Elder troll but was caught off guard by the Armoured troll who dropped his sword for a more viscious personal attack. After the Armoured troll had him down the other two pounced on Nightwing as well. When the three stood up Nightwing laid on the floor a bloody mess.
