I think you are too worried about Stealth. I just don't see it as the end all - be all of powers. Especially against the Q-TA. You just have to be aggressive.

If your biggest threat has Stealth and you didn't play one of the 3 BFC cards that take the ability away and didn't have any of the 30 or so figures who can easily combat it, just base the stealth guy with Ganthet. Next turn hit him for 5.

Even on a 300 point team, I'll take Ganthet over a V Legacy Batman led team - and he is the best stealthed figure so far...

It's amazing what a little reshuffling of powers (and a TA) can do to a character's playability. If you compare Ganthet and Parallax, they have a pretty similar array of powers, but Ganthet seems much more capable for only 16 points more. Early clicks of support powers like outwit and pushable TK make him a good team supporter, and then late game after everyone's taken some heat his offense kicks into high gear.
But wow, hit him good in those barrier clicks, and you've got an expensive blue stain...

Ion, the original, was NOTHING to Ganthet. Ion, could and did, be literally everywhere at once. Do just about anything anywhere at any time.

Ganthet thought him, while powerful, trivial. An experiment if you will.

Ganthet is closer...MUCH closer...to Galactus in power than the Silver Surfer in power.

Within the scope of the adjusted stats averaging currently taking place I'd say this is a pretty good fig. He's powerful, but not so powerful that he'd be considered cheesy like Icons Supes. At the very least he's an improvement over Parallax, and definitely more worthwhile playing for his point cost. Still, there are many more effective figs.

Which is why you would want to put the repulsor shield feat card on him, this way he can ignore psychic blast, RCE, and force blast.
