The first time I saw this Thor in action was at NY ComicCon against the Alien Queen. She jumped from her shackles and had a mighty bout against the God of Thunder. Then she was clobbered in an unimaginable display of Asgardian brutality. This Thor, unfortunately, is not a point and click bruiser like the more efficient and less expensive HoT Common. He's got a bit of an identity crisis. The designer obviously wanted this Thor to excel in all areas of direct combat, and he does. The trouble is that all the RCE makes him vulnerable to Basing. His middial has a 3 damage Flurry, but that's not often enough to handle a swarm like he'll definitely have to. Elite Sniper lets him use that 6 damage even when Based, and the new Black Lantern object could prove valuable in the hands of this Norse God.

One thing that he could use the most today? The Mjolnir SO.

I've never seen him played correctly, but I imagine with Elite Sniper or maybe Trick Shot he could be formidable.

the low defense sucks I agree but I've worked around it. Depending on the game I found either teaming him with SI Dr. Strange or Clobbering Time Invisible woman helped loads.

Poor Mighty Thor hasn't aged too gracefully. Oh wait.... he always sucked. Great sculpt though.

He's good. He plays like Thor (I run, I throw my hammer, I hurt things, I get hit . . . a lot. Repeat), the only real problem is the defense. Still, I've used him to great effect (Take that Green Scar!)

In 400 points or higher, Saint Walker's his new best friend. Sharing a respectable 18 defense and boosting his ranged damage by 1. If only Thor was 1 point less, you could even fit Elite Sniper in there. Oh well. I still like this Thor a lot.

If you want to make this fig near unkillable, slap trick shot on him. Works just like trickshot jordan only you can do nastier things with this fig than jordan any day.

He's crap, not mighty. At least if he has two bolts and a more movement... And the "boot" symbol.... He really sucks. If he was like 170 will be ok.

I still say throw Trick Shot and Swingline on him and he's nasty. Team him up with Thor's Might Chariot and he's just nasty. Then throw in a Valkyrie and You're set!

Uh, this guy is so not crap. Yes, his defense sucks, but have you forgotten he doesn't take pushing damage, or that he's immune to outwit?? Slap on Protected and Shellhead, and this guy can give one hell of a fight.

I have two of him, and they both have battle furry after flurry, not expert range. Are mine misprints, or is the dial showing above not accurate?
