He is "british"(technically scottish I believe, but close enough for me), so he's gunna have a pretty dry sense of humor. Wouldn't shock me if it was just a joke no one got.
I'm British, with a sense of humor so dry and sharp if it cut you it would absorb the blood, and I can without a doubt tell you he's an idiot. A joke no-one gets isn't a joke.
wow, I'm still reading the interview, but this struck me as.... just.... wow.
"The closest thing to porn when you're nine years old is seeing that explosion of color with 50 superheroes together in a single image. I used to stare at the insides of my hardback Marvel Annuals every year as a little kid on Christmas morning. It genuinely got me off trying to remember all the names. That's why I insisted on all those big multi-character covers. This was aimed at the eight year olds as much as the 40 year olds. Something happens on every page."
o.....................kay.
That is dodgy. That is Michael Jackson in nothing but moonboots and a smile, running giggling through a crowded playground in the rain dodgy.

yeah, I agree. I personally like covers with just one or two characters on them, I like quality over quantity, like the astonishing xmen where Cyclops is sitting down and Emma has her hands over his eyes, and we can see some ruby light leak through her fingers, that one's great. another of my favorites is the ultimate xmen with gambit leaning against a street pole with a light that says "waltz" and "don't waltz"
