You're actually quite excellent at the game - certainly know the rules far better than me and all of my stupid mistakes - as I've seen plenty of times. Just noticed you've been having some off days and some bad luck here just coincides with those. Frankly, when you're "in the mood to play for real" you're one of the best.

Thanks for the compliment but I think doth does praise too much. The only reason I know most rules is becasue i broke them first lol. But this game I dont think I was off so much as the dice. i dont know how many rolls I missed by just one that plus Poison. It is a power not used much but can be nasty as no mater waht you defense is if you dont have some protection you get smoked and that si what toasted Mantis and Gamora my CC figs. But anytime you are up I woudlnt mind trying a game with the other half of the GOTG lol

(And even though I started the "draft pool" by using two Gotham City Villains - thus keeping to keywords - I'll try to draft something a bit more "traditional theme" this time. Maybe try out the Runaways or the Asgardians.)

Both very solid ideas although if you go Asgardians then i demand we do it right the forces of Good Asgard versus Loki and the forces of Ragnarok. Although I think we would need to do at leats 400 points for that game But to see the Warriors Three, Sif and Hemediall facing off with Loki, Fenris, Ulik, etc
But looking at them yeah it is hard to do them outside of 500 although an army of Ulik and Rock Trolls could be nasty
