well, just wondering, how can dr. manhattan EVER eat this figure? well, i think, if only dr. manhattan has an outwit power, he could have outwitted thorki's shapechange and blasted him through his camouflage.. unfortunately he doesn't, and the next thing you know, he's on the ropes taking the hits from thorki's running shot and the beastly duo attack ability (while dr. manhattan is busy teleporting himself then waiting for another two turns before he can clearly attack thorki.. and i don't care if doc has imperv almost on all of his clicks, after taking multiple attacks from thorki's duo attack + INDOMITABLE combo, i assume i'm not gonna be finding those 5's and 6's by and by..)

and by the way, you do know people are fond of exclaiming the "best figure in heroclix" sentence since this forum was created.. may i ask you how many times have you seen this sentence attached to plenty of other figs in the clix universe..? the truth is, everyone has the right to call their favorite figs the "best", and every figure has the right to be called one..
and also please take note that, thorki is in the HoT set, obviously there will be other figures which will come out in the near future, which will be strong, too.. just like your osterman (but i never said that he is STRONGER than thor and loki)..:)

..the fact is, the "best fig in clix" phrase is not pertaining to only ONE character, it pertains to plenty of characters whether from the past to the present, and this phrase that is attached to them never gets removed, NEVER.. consider them hall of famers, or greater than hall of famers, if i might say..:) one example is icons vet superman, would you say that he is not one of the best figs in the clix world, when honestly, up til now, he still is one, and that will never be changed, even for thorki, of course, they have varying capabilities as compared to supes, but nevertheless they are still considered one of the best w/ regards to their own unique capabilities..

Well, that goes assuming a feated up game. I'm talking straight up, no feats. You're assuming you hit shape change, and that I miss rolling impervious. Fair enough I suppose. But I've seen people roll ten impervious/super senses in a row, and miss every shape change. And that's another thing, with Doc Manhattan, every move has to hit twice and get through two damage ignoring powers. Hitting twice isn't a problem with hammer of Thor attack values, but getting through super senses AND impervious can be.

well, you do have a point, but the thing here is it's all in the dice, getting through those PC, senses, and imperv powers of doc man will also be difficult, but you'll never know when the duo attack will hit him, it's all in the dice.. and i'll give the chances of dealing more damage to thorki because of his duo attack capability, and when he gets up close, doc man will not be able to use his psyblast anymore, and don't forget the mystics TA..

when my friend's pulled them, i was appalled by their point cost. Every time they played, the figure was a big target, and was taken out quickly. I ended getting one in a mass trade and had the fortune of every opponent underestimating him due to his previous lackluster preformance.I don't think i will ever trade them now. come on, 11 clix of damage in one turn from their own powers alone?

When my son plays Thor and Loki, he combines him with Gharskygt (2 perplex on attack per turn). This insures that T&L start out with a 14 or 15 attack (depending if they want to use their own perplex) and dealing 11 (or 12) clicks of damage with a duo attack. My teams (and others) get destroyed.

The new power barrage feat makes these guys incredibly dangerous. Running Shot first, then another ranged attack? Wow! Throw Gharskygt (sp?), and a couple Con-Artists with them and look out.

What's this 'power barrage' feat I keep hearing about?

@Clixkilla, Too bad Power Barrage doesn't work that way.... Running Shot isn't one of the prereq's. The only power they have that qualifies is quake, which is far less useful.

its too bad they dont have charge in that movement SP too. 4 clicks of it are semi-useless because of the Battle fury power

Actually u can use running shot with battle fury.Because battle fury keeps you from making ranged attacks, but running shot allows you to make a ranged combat action.
Running Shot:Give this character a power action ;halve its speed value for the action. Move this character up to its replaced speed value and it may be given a ranged combat action as a free action.
Battle Fury:(non-optional) This character can't make ranged combat attacks, can't be targeted by Mind control, and can't be carried.

No, you actually can't make ranged attacks with Running Shot while showing Battle Fury. It is the main reason why Cr AzBats isn't better, because he opens with Running Shot with Battle Fury.

You are right, you can't make ranged attack with running shot, you make ranged combat actions. Battle fury doesn't allow you to make ranged attacks. Read the BN PAC.

He's good, not unbeatle, but he's good. I never forget having a team full of AA Questions raping him.

Immortal Contempt seems to be the favorite feat on this fig followed by Inside Information, Pym Particles and Alpha Flight. I have even seen all four feats on this fig at once! Fear not, for a simple pulse wave courtesy of Nimrod rid him of such a nuisance!

all the time i have seen this figure on a map, it was never defeated.
