Alfred from Alpha made me mad to have to shell out 14.00 for. I have used him a couple of times, hes a good piece, but not 14.00 good.

4 figs come to mind;

1) Captain Mako
I think this is one of the coolest looking figs made. Doesn't matter what his dial looks like.
I couldn't lay hands on this figure period. Trading, ebay, or outright buying it. Couldn't even find the MMO set he was in intact.
Eventually a friend got me the CoV MMO set (with the figs!) for Xmas when those turned up in bulk clearence there the other year. Never have plugged the discs in....

2) The Sinestro construct big figure. Un-broken.
This one took me a year to track down.

3) The Wizard Shazam chase out of Origin.
I spent a good several months looking for one. Couldn't trade for it, couldn't win one on Ebay, couldn't even pay Strike-Zone's rediculous price for it at the time.

4) oots Batman.
About a month back I decided to make a modded ninja team using this dial + Hand Ninjas (idea borrowed from someone here on the Realms).
Do you have any idea how hard it is to round up 5 extra oots Batmen??? WT...

There are two that I want really bad and they are Ares from Legacy and The KC Chase Superman Too bad they are selling for jokingly a million bucks a piece on Evil Bay oops I mean E-Bay.

I have the lab but it is all white on the other side, no horror clix map. I will keep an eye open for one for you.

I have green scar for trade.

i don't know about that, having Alfred assign to the feat Invigorate and within 4 squares of an Indigo Lantern..i believe he becomes awesome for 45 points with all that goodness and well worth the $14

I haven't had a complex trying to get one fig since U Spiral from Clobberin' Time. Then I pulled her in a booster, like four weeks after the announcement that the set had sold out. I recall hugging the Game Store owner.

Thankfully, the figs I "must must must have" have never been a really rare fig. I think Cloak & Dagger has been the highest rarity so far. And when I pulled them, it was in the same pack as Chase Susan Richards! I was more interested in C&D.

It took me years to get the Unique Hellboy from Indy and I still haven't managed to get a Hecate.

I'm presently being vexed by my inability to procure either an Alpha Alfred or a Howard the Duck.

Of all pieces from Marvel, Exp. Daredevil from Sinister. I love the Vet, but sometimes I really want that wildcard, and no matter what, everytime I check ebay there are very few listed and they cost waaaay more than I would even consider for an experienced piece from a retired set. and I've NEVER seen any for trade on the trade forum.

For DC, I'm gonna have to say Matches Malone. I think its just a cool concept for a piece, but the one time I had a trade set up for one I got completely stiffed by the person I was trading with, lost some good pieces in the deal (check Rock 810's Bad Traders post). So yeah, THAT gave me a complex. I was soured from trading for a while. Only bad experience I've ever had though.

OK, you suck. My wife is going to kill me now. $70 gone to Troll and Toad to fill my needs....needs I tell ya!!

What, and she didn't kill you after that GIANT CLIX SHOPPING SPREE that you did a while back? How many hundreds of dollars was that?!

About eight, all together, if I recall correctly.

I can imagine that some hard decisions had to be made after the purchase:

"How much can we get for the baby on e-Bay? What? I don't see a rarity tab here... Oh, wait. There it is, under the diaper. Brown. What rarity is brown? Yeah, he's Super Rare, all right."

The problem will be, I am sure, is that after spending that much I am still buying stuff.
