Including one member of the Great Ten, like the Socialist Red Guardsman, means they're still committed to giving us more of the Great Ten every once in a blue moon.

Remaking their leader, the August General in Iron, within the same set, though, suggests a more vigorous revival, which couldn't be realistic without their leader available as a modern age figure.

To me, his inclusion seemed like a pleasant surprise, a very inspired suprise.

It's a nice piece. The synergy is off a bit. I always prefer my exploit coupled with my charge. I like that we have a new modern age version but that will give us only 3 modern age Great Ten team members. I think if resources are being placed into a team that the team should be completely developed. At least just finish making the other members before remaking the members we already have.

Quake with penetrating damage to move your opponent back then running shot beside this guy for some extra damage. They really did a great job on making him an efficient brawler.

Playable figure, but I woulda liked a Killer Croc remake before this guy. Hell, I woulda liked a Metamorpho remake before this guy.

Especially when the old AGII is still totally playable in Golden Age with a couple Feats.


So far I only want one figure in this set– Big Barda! So happy they remade her.

I feel your pain.. like it's not anything we haven't seen before.. first class x-men started in M&M, not being completed until GSX. avengers missed 2 members of the young avengers (one we got in SI, the other a long time later).. I'm still waiting for a Dark X-men keyworded Mimic to get done.

He's an improvement on the JL clix, but by that much.
