Bringing the UB or Gauntlet into the discussion is not going to help anything.

I'm not saying it's way off, I'm just saying it should be more like 8 or 10 rather than 5. 5pts isn't going to make or break it

Mjolnir is way way undercosted (wheras UB is way way way way way way undercosted). Willpower is one of those powers that gets meta fast, and a blanket +1 is solid. 8-10 seems like more than a fair price.

I disagree that Mjolnir is undercosted, having played with it for a couple of seasons in the HCFL.

I'd even say that I can't think of a single relic that is truly undercosted. Mjolnir gives some nice bonuses, as do other relics. But you have to discount heavily for their uncertainty--at a minimum, you're burning an action to make the relic roll, and most of the time, it's going to fail. A lot of times, you're better off attacking or doing something else with a character instead of trying to pick up a relic. The low cost of relics is appropriate given the odds of getting some use out of them.

That said, if a majority of the Supremacy League would prefer to pay 8-10 points instead of 5 for the Autobot Leadership Matrix, who am I to tell them otherwise?

That thread is, again, comparing Relics to Resources.

Resources give you absurd bonuses for minimal cost, and are the height of meta-game, even more so than the JL Team base, IMO.

Relics are more balanced, because they give nice bonuses for crazy cheap, but have the 'uncertainty' aspect to it.

Mjolnir is ridiculously under costed because it's free. The only thing it costs you, is a special object slot/ability to play a resource, and a power action. You'll get to use it ~1/6 games, but that game you do, it's a tremendous advantage for minimal cost.

I think it's a solid 8 points. Comparing it to newer Relics, it seems much more comparable to the new Hammers than anything else. Better than Briefcase Armor, but generally harder to pick up.

How do "one per force' Figures work? Like Uniques, Primes and Resource dials? Can I have one and can my partner both have one?

Are any of the other teams running resources? I don't want to be the only kid bringing the meta toys to the playground, but I don't want to be the only one without either.

Both teams can have their own uniques etc, Resources are disallowed.
