I think you guys should stick with Orange. It looks good on you.
Agreed. A) I like the Orange. B) It still lets people know that you are the official Rules Guys for HCRealms. The Deputies were only ever referred to as an Orange on HCRealms or by HCRealms users. I see no need to change that now.

My only dislike of Dragon's format is that the entire front page of the rules forum is dominated by locked threads. That screams subforum to me.
I agree I think combining what he and I did (locking it is probably something I should have done), dropping the HCRealms rulings, and throwing it into the "final word" subforum is the way to go.
I also think we should throw an unlocked thread in there for people to bring stuff up should be good. If I get some agreement, I'll start that process.

That was my thoughts exactly. Keep the main thread with all of the links open for people to post in and stickied in the Main Rules section. Then move all of the locked threads to the Final Word Section and maybe Re-Name the Final Word to something like Official Rulings Warehouse or something like that.

Or create a third subforum if you want to keep the Final Word and the Compiled rulings separate. That's what my gut prefers, but my gut is not always right.

That would work too, but I'm not sure that we will really have "final words" any more.

Maybe the whole phrase is just a misnomer now.
Yeah, but the things is that the old final words really were final words - they were made by members of the rules team. I think it is a valuable resource still, and it could be useful to keep it separate from rehashings of rulings from another website.
YMMV of course.

Hopefully WK integrates the core essence of all the final rulings into their PG, Forum, or some other document. I dont think each individual ruling necessarily needs to be in the PG. Ideally though, it would be good to include all the concepts which the rulings are based on when they clear up the rules as they are generally understood. I think it would also be important to add those rulings or concepts to the PG that are exceptions to how the rules are generally understood.
Then again WK main rules focus may be on the Modern Age so it may behoove us to take special care with Golden/Silver Age stuff.

I'm going to try to bring back this idea (thanks to burleigh2!), and I would like your help! If you guys see anything that is particularly news worthy, send me a PM and I'll start a thread (or add it to an old one depending on the set) and link it here!
I don't actually have mod powers, so I can't edit stuff beyond my own threads so I think this may be the way to go...

Also if anyone has any other ideas let me know!!
Another one just came up (which may have happened months ago). The thread here that shows the original answer is at http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=541276 (clicking on the WES link in the first post shows the change from No with a reason to Yes with nothing further).
