Holy Christ, I just caught up on a bunch of Realms stuff from the past week. That ROC- thread with its oh so amusing 2 weeks early April Fool's punchline- may be the low point of realms since I have ever been on here. I cannot believe the mods allowed that petty, loaded tripe to stay up for so long. Even harder to believe is that then the mods/ Typhon blame the folks calling the ROC dicks out on their BS, both in topic and delivery, for causing the thread to be closed.

That;s hilarious! I don't know why anyone would believe a ROC post unless it was made by Howard Brock. SLVRSR4 made the best point, "I find it funny that it's the people who are the usual trolls of this site and are always saying "Get a sense of humor, bro!" that are the ones with the lack of a sense of humor here..."

Were there any humor on display in that thread, that would be true. I didn't see any. It was a "we're gonna ##### about haters, then say it was all an April Fool's joke". I guess if something was actually witty or funny it would be different?

I agree with the esteemed aquahuffmen.

Trouble is, when those jabronis tried to be funny, they still exhibited a lack of comedic sensibility.

The April Fool's jokes are occurring way to early. The worst April Fool's of all time, though, has to be the Trophy Room that had the WATX Venom.

I guess it doesn't bother me either way because I don't care about the whole ROC thing and am looking at it after knowing it was a "joke". Kind of can't get past the spoilers to objectively look at it.

Of course the giant poosplosion happened about 30 minutes after Angi went back to bed this morning. I needed at least 3 hands to cleanly handle it. It did not go well. Quincy likes the poop.

Any ex-judges here? I am thinking about no longer volunteering at my venue. I'm tired of being one of the few who care anymore. For those of you that did quit judging, how was it? Do you still ever play at your old venue?

I quit judging/organizing in early November and have only regretted it maybe once or twice in the 5 months since. I have played there once since, and it was fun. But the time required to organize was way more than I could give. Judging alone once a week for a few hours wasn't horrible, but I just could not give the time needed to keep the venue going. Three years ago I was probably dedicating 8 hours a week on just Clix stuff for Cashman's, by the beginning of this school year it was a chore just to get there for Monday night games.

You'll probably feel the same sense of freedom I did, given the extra time you'll have and a little less drive time, etc.
