I honestly think my opponent and I played it as best as we could. Sure I could bring up Norman and my pogs... but one of the Dinos has Quake as well. My figs were either durable or had mastermind. He capitalized on the one fig he couldnwhen that fig entered the battle. He didn’t have any problems taking out figs in his other games. Outside of dice rolls I mostly had no problem with any other teams I faced. And he didn’t have to face a Daredevil that is pretty unkillable in sealed for the rest of the tournament.

I’m not trying to change your opinion of the fig. I just wanted to respond to your post asking for Stegron experiences.

When we do these reviews, we always choose one hill to die on. Stegron seems to be ours this time...

I pulled madam hydra and let me tell you your right about her being hard to kill and that she needs a range these would have made her alot better but I like that she has esd on her special seeing as how the only way to do more than 1 damage to her is from more than 3 squares away

Came back from another prerelease. Doctor Octopus is a beast. My Rares were him and Fancy Dan. Fancy Dan put in work because I had the other Fancy Dan as well. So he was busting down walls, attacking multiple times, or repositioning opposing figs which helped Doc Ock out. I also had Doc Ock as President Osborn’s bodyguard and the full sinister Six bonuses. Doc Ock was usually doing flurry with a 13 Attack and 5 damage. If the mid/late dial perplexers had perplex, he was doing flurry with a 14 Attack and 6 damage.

I played against Spider-Man Rare. He looks like a fun mobile piece. Doc Ock with his crazy bonuses took Spider-Man out but I still like that Spider-Man. His mobility is pretty neat.

Had the misfortune last night to play in the final round against Black Bolt backed up by the common dad-bod Spider-Man and hooboy that was a short game.

Starting to see how I went 3-0 despite pulling not-great IMO:

Fancy Dan 50
The Rose 40
Luke Cage 100
Hydra Sharon 60

Cage did the most, but that was with Smythe drawing fire and Rose's flunkies blocking for the team.

So I know Stegron's Dino's are pretty slow already...

But...

Can't the Brontosaurus carry one of the others and one of the others carry Stegron?

...that are slow. Still I'd pick the Brontosaurus with Side Step or the Rex. Any could block LOF as well.

But multi-targeting does, so they kept the number of counters the same, even if they shifted what those counters were.
