Hail, at the risk of sounding lame, what is the ref to "CLAWS" and all that? I never heard of it. WAFFLES is obvious, tho, and cool.

As for the damage reduction on indirect, that is a rule straight from jump in the original DA book. There has always been a cap of 2 on an indirect, that is what made us rock with Streaks and 14", in the old days. With our 2 "ONLY" 16' Mechs, we OWNED the range game.

Oh, and I forgot that I always fill out my armies with Tora in her Zephyr. 14 points for 3AP and the hottest COOLEST 7'-9" chick ya ever saw. We Elemental types may marry 5'-3" girls, but we DREAM of those tall Elemental Babes! haha!

Oh, and the old cheap 17 pt repair trucks, they repair plus they are ALWAYS my opp's 1st target. I use them as bait. While he manuevers to take them out, I manuever to take HIM out. hehe Always seems to work.

No, I apologize to the Warriors of those Clans, I did not mean to demean you by comparing you to the Falcons. It was either snakes or snits to complete W.A.F.F.L.E.S. acronym, and snakes sounded better at the time.

Hmmm...I wonder if by snakes SirBrag is actually referring to House Kurita (snake is a derogatory name for any Kuritan warrior as "cappie" is to House Liao), then by game terms makes fine sense.

Just a little update guys, I currently have a SW scenario in the works, which I'll post soon if anyone wants to hear it. Remember, I'll only post it if you want me to, so tell me yes or no.

I said I'd post it, so here it is, my SW scenario:
Special Cargo
A Steel Wolves Dropship carrying experimental weaponry has been shot down over a hostile planet. The Dropship’s weapon systems were destroyed in the crash. The cargo and the Wolves onboard, however, are still very much alive…
Objective: Each player seeks to destroy each other and control the dropship’s cargo.
Deployment: Two players, 600 points, time limit 50 minutes. Half of Player one’s force must be Steel Wolves. Half of player two’s force must be a single faction of their choice.
Terrain: One 10x6 blocking terrain representing the cargo with the cargo laid out length-wise 12 inches from player one’s DZ No other terrain. (sorry if this part is fuzzy, hard to explain)
Special rules: At the end of the game, if only one player has one or more units in base contact with the cargo, they gain a 100 point bonus to VC 2. If both players or no player has a unit in base contact, no bonus is awarded. Otherwise, use Standard MechWarrior Rules.

Originally, there was also a radio room, but it works better without it.
