Draconum fight with honor and will not back down from a fight...now that we have the flying contraption as a mobile HQ, we will police the skies and claim all EF Sky Dragons our own...bwahahahahahaha!!!

Police the land and sky? You have to rebuild what you've lost first and really unify before being a storyline big-hitter.

I am going to play the draconum with this method.... the most bigest basdest draconum's I have... then i will push all of my own peies and make stupid moves...ha ha ha ha ha i shall be victorious..... well at least in the bizaro-world...:D

correct me if im wrong, but only wins get counted, not precentage of win/loss. so playing a faction you dislike wont hurt them.

I am just curious if the way WK screwed the AC cards will play a difference in the number of players showing up.

Faction war prizes used to be some of the coolest, like the Sorcery Faction Wars prizes. Until they freakin released them with Omens, smooth move there WK. Now this time, their LE AC cards are the same AC cards you can get in the boosters except, don't hold your breath, they're a different color. They must think we are ######## or something. If I didn't like playing in tourney's so much, I would boycot. Screw WK prize support.:mad: :mad: :mad:

^^Amen to that. It's not even like the DC got any good Faction prize but still it was a fun tourney to play in.

The last couple of times it was record that counted. Each time you won a match (i.e. byes don't count), your faction got a win.

Of course, those venues where the warlord forgot to put in battle results didn't get counted.

I would like to point out that Prize support IS free, afterall. Given that we get it free, I'm more inclined to let them change it around as they like and keep it free, rather then have them start making us pay to get 'new' things. Besides, Nexus will have 'new' cards. I was also rather happy about LEs being in the boosters rather then some things being super-rare and nigh-unobtainable. It makes for a sense of balance so that the little kids who don't win often don't get reamed by the LE hunters and keeps things on a leveler field.

Also LE's in boosters give the casual gamer with no tournies a chance to get them.

I'm going to have to agree w/ Oni on this one; even though the prize support isn't always stellar, it is free. This makes it possible for some tournies to be run without charging the participants an entry fee. I know a lot of my younger players don't have a lot of money; some of them might opt out of the events if they can't afford them.

When my players play, they do it for the thrill of playing; I rarely have them complaining about the prizes or deciding to do something else because WK provided us with the venues 8th Demethostes. If you don't like what WK is providing, try having a booster pitch-in to add to the prize pool; in a small 4 player event, each player will only have to toss in $2 to add a booster to the pool. In an 8 player event, that same $2 can add two boosters to the pool. From my experience, the players like the chance of getting some uniques, spells, or even that elusive non for only $2. Plus they get to play a fun game.

Yeah, it's kind of a bummer to see ACs as the prizes but the real prize is the fun the game provides.

Also, I wonder if the last faction war prizes might be a sign of things to come. We know that Nexus will have styrene as prizes and they won't be in boosters (since there isn't any styrene in Nexus). Maybe that styrene will be in a future set.

This would give more meaning to playing in tournaments, while allowing all prizes to be available to those who can't be played in tournaments (without trading or buying online), eventually.

Can the listing of AC-cards and Factions be posted here?
