So what does this mean for the randoms? The scrubs of this game? Those nameless faces who most consider 'free wins' at the PCs? Are we never going to make anymore sporatic top 8 appearances at 10Ks or PCs because these 'super teams' of pro players are just gonna eat us alive? And if we do, will we ever rise to the level of these guys?

I hope you are being sarcastic. I mean, I am on that team for god's sake. Anyone with the desire can make top eight. The beauty of Vs is that if you learn to minimize the amount of mistakes you make in your game, you will always be able to postion yourself for a win.
But remember, we love to hate the Yankees. Without the superteams of Vs. System... us scrubs could not crow so loudly when we beat them.
I agree with Dave. I have been right beside him from the beginning. We went seperate ways. I put a hell of a lot of effort into becoming a casual kook who gets to beat the fun drum loudly for the community to dance to. He put a hell of a lot of effort into becoming a real pro with credentials and cash. We both made it, and you can too.
Could this be like the WSOP? I mean really, all these big names sitting in a room. They have played/worked with/teched against each other so much that the element of surprise is lost. Meanwhile, the rest of us who sit, watch and learn from them can gain an advantage in the fact that we are unknowns which gives us an information edge. It might not give us the win all the time, but it will start to close the gap.
Also..I think another important issue that could effect the success of this team would be what deck are they going to run? With so many different play styles, are they all going to run the same deck, or will they seperate to what deck fits their play style the best?
Personally I am glad to see the super teams. Was there odds on an unknown winning? That would be interesting.

Actually, someone hinted at a pretty valid point. I don't know any of these guys personally, so wouldn't dare make a sweeping statement, but can such a competitive group of individuals co-exsist on the same team? These players all strike me as being so focused at the prize, is there the possibility that the team will drift apart sooner rather than later.
