That playmat is the hotness. The shirt looks nice, never quite cared for Dr. Fate, but I wouldn't turn it away.

I sure hope that is not the card art for Billy. Don't get me wrong that is an amazing mat but so loved the Jean Mat but it was ruined for me when it had a card counter part. I just like the mats getting their own exclusive art.

I think the mat looks pretty good. It still beats the GL playmat. I think the shirts look pretty snazy too.

I think a new thread should be started so that people from Europe can voice their opinions on their state of the game. Rather than do it in every other thread on here.

People only wanna see what the EA's are, the playmats and the deck tins. Like I said, I'm sorry that Europe is getting the short end of this deal. If I lived there, I'd be livid too. I'm just a little frustrated with this whole thing spilling over into every thread.

'This whole thing' isn't in EVERY thread. It is in several because it is a major issue and many people feel strongly about it.

The thread is MORE relevent to us than to most others. Most players are going to get the same as every prerelease (Tins, EAs, Tshirts, Playmats). We are probably NOT going to get most of that.

Now thats what I've been saying!

I can't even get a sneak peek because my state has no support. So I know your situation. I have to drive 5 or 6 hours just to attend one. So this weekend I get nothing because UDE won't support my state because there is no money.

So I get to go to work while everyone gets to bust packs and ohh and awww over how broken this set is going to be. Then I get to wait two more weeks for my boxes to come in the mail.

Some should just be thankful, all free stuff aside.

Don't know if there's anyone from France on the boards or if the French support is indicitive of the rest of Europe (but I suppose it is), I've just finished going through the deliveries for the French shops for the pre-release and in those mailings there was metal and cardboard but no fabric. (Wasn't overly impressed with the cardboard either....)

Word on the street is that UDE Europe "don;t know" if we'll be getting the goodies.

I notice a lot of American complaining about how everything they say is justified because they have to drive/travel X hours to get to their nearest tournament location.

To me that's quite similar to the conversation you have with your friends with children

eg.
conversation about SUVs in the city beign a big waste
your friend says "oh you don't have kids!" dismisses your entire arguement

conversation about education being in a mess "oh you don't have kids!" you opinion dismissed again.

A part of me wishes I had to drive X horus to my nearest tournament location just so people like you would shut up about it and I can go on to be JUSTIFIABLY annoyed that we're not receiving the same amount of goodies.

Also VSNinja if you had actaully read any of the threads were the europe debacle is an issue (and after all it's "every" thread as you claim it) then you would know that we've supported the game.
As for UDE making the money I think someone quoted some good GDP numbers for Europe > US. It might have been the UK but Sam will help me out here I think ;)

We are already thankful enough to UDE for giving us the game. We are not thankful for the piss around and the toying about. Why would anyone afterall?
