I have to vote for the following in no particular order:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Thundercats Universe(Silverhawks and Tigersharks included, they are a wildstorm imprint)
GI Joe
Hanna Barbara (Blue Falcon and Wonder-Mutt, please!!!)
Transformers ( Generation 1 of course!)
There are tons of other great possibilities and due to the 'Aging' of tournaments, players opposed don't have to be concerned with the detested properties for the entire year.
***warning... this will never happen and I know it, so don't bother complaining about the idea being infeasible***
I'd love to see a city of heroes EC. For anyone who's every played COH, I think this would be awsome. The Statesman and friends vs. Aracnos and Lord Recluse. Maybe give each character a trait simmilar to mutant, to emphasis character archtypes, and then have lure or taunt type effects that you can only play on tankers, or cards that cause 'criticals' that are only playable on scrappers, ect.
Then again, since AEG already has a COH card game, this would never happen.
Personally, I'd rather have a Darkwing Duck Essential Collection. He's a superhero!
The Hanna Barbara superheroes (Space Ghost et al) would be good, too.
One other thought is the characters from NBC's Heroes. That sort of thing might generate some general interest to expand the fanbase, if the license can be acquired.
Because these boards are so heavily monitored by UDE, alot of us take the basic assumption that, at least in General Discussion, we're actually trying to present player feedback and viable ideas to R&D. That the purpose of such threads is for the community to have a discussion about what, in this case Essential Collections, are both wanted and viable.
Now if this was the "Dreams and Desires" section, you wouldn't run into that. That's why we have that section.
I apologize for "Stepping on people's dreams". This isn't, however, the "Dreams" board. Feedback, both positive and negative where appropriate, based on viability is kind of a basic assumption under "General Discussion".
If I post something you don't think is viable, I actually would encourage you to make such an arguement. It would need to be said so that the idea could be altered or rethought; so that the idea could possibly be developed better.
Ok, your logic hear is flawed. If the only board that should include desires is the dreams and desires board, then the only board that should include ideas and suggestions to UDE is the Dear UDE board. Lighten up. Seriously. I think the term general means we can discuss pretty much whatever we want as long as it's VS related. Pull the sick out of your backside and know that UDE isn't going to stop monitoring the community for ideas and suggestions just becuase some people like ideas that aren't feasible.

:ermm:
I never said what "should and shouldn't be". Your taking my explanation and extrapolating it. I was explaining why I assumed the post was posted in a certain light, based on the general atmosphere of the boards.
That's all. I'm not a mod, post wherever you wish.

Listen, I already apologized for "treading on people's ideas". I'm not saying you CAN'T post "dream-esque" stuff here, I'm saying that my NULL HYPOTHESIS is that, when it's posted here, people want to have the idea critiqued and discussed.
Again - I'm not saying there's anything WRONG with posting that stuff here, just know that without notice, alot of us will ASSUME you want to discuss the pro's and con's of the idea.

Lol. I would actually say that's I'm arguably very light around here. In fact: Linky
Anyways, I wasn't "setting rules based on logic", I was explaining why I jumped to the conclusion that the person that posted would want feedback on the idea, so I'm sorry if I offended you (although I'm not sure how since it had nothing to do with you), but there's no need to attack me.
Having sick in your backside might be the grossest thing ever.
QFT
I still think he might have meant "Sick" though. It seemed a little like he was trying to flame me (or rather was trying to argue a point, got a little emotional and started to flame a little), and a stick in the backside doesn't seem that offensive.
Is he implying that maybe I was punctured by a stick and it pierced my black, black heart?
1.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles VS The Foot
2.Jedi VS Sith ( yes I now they had a game Bla... I would like to see it)
3.Transfomers VS Despticons ( They have SOOO many possiblites)
4.Thundercats VS Mumm-Ra
5.The Tick VS Bad guys

Yes, that was suppost to be stick... You've never heard the expression of someone having a stick up their ###? I was just trying to say it with a little more tact. The idea I was trying to convey was that I felt you were taking the discussion too seriously.
I agree on re-reading my post that it came off a bit harsher than intended. I was trying to hate, just pointing out the irony in your earlier sentiment.
Now it's my turn to appologize. I'll stop arguing semantics and get back to discussing cards.
