I'm still trying to build the deck without Mobilize. Mobilize is starting to feel like a crutch to me. Plus, if I hard mulligan for Recharge but I miss 1 and 2 then Mobilize isn't going to do me any good. (It has happened.) Pathetic Attempt is the first card I've added that wasn't specifically DC Legends. Another card that has been itching at the back of my mind for this deck is Reset from MVL. Reset only requires that all characters I control to share an affiliation but I can remove any defender from the attack, even my opponents so Reset can work on or off initiative.
While it maybe true that WW has won me games, it has often been because my opponent did not want there effects redirected and as such chose not to play their plot twists while she was on the field. In other cases, my opponent just made sure she was stunned before they played anything. In either case, I usually still have extra cards in hand especially with Recharge in play.
You'll have to excuse the Bear he's Deranged, plus he had a real hard Vs. Weekend.
Honestly the build I inevitably feel will be strongest for this deck likely includes New Era, and then something silly like BatComputer/Posidonis/HallofJustice, I just have to rip my current build apart to do it so it hasn't happened yet, let me know what you guys think about the location abuse version. Thanks
...and Mobilize isn't a crutch its a stong right leg to stand on (in fact its the only leg some teams have to stand on).
...and with 8 search cards 4 MH 4 Mobilize, I missed important drops in 2 games in 9 rounds, including a game where after the mull I searched 3 and 4 and missed 5 and 6 ...yeah ow.

Understandable. Props to you Mr. Deranged.

Someone showed up with a JLA deck that used New Era and he played with one of several different locations.. Batcomputer, Cadmus Labs, Coast City, Keystone City, Birthing Chamber, etc. It was OK but it didn't seem to have any cohesion to it.

Hey, it happens to the best of us. What are you gonna do? I've played my JLA deck and had games where I would hit exactly the character I needed just by using Watchtower. Now that's luck!
Granted, Kate Kane has a nice effect but without someone to sub in behind her she would just seem out of place in a JLA deck. Plus, there's Superman on 5 to consider.
Do we have a consensus for the best drops and backups at each spot for Silver Age?
My opinion;
1 Black Canary, Ray Palmer (JLA only)
2 Roy Harper, Gypsy (DWF)
3 Batman, Hal Jordan
4 Wonder Woman, Barry Allen
5 Wally West (DLS), Superman
6 Barry Allen , Aquaman
7 Hal Jordan, Superman

Thats along the lines of my thinking, but say with cohesion. My brains a little underpowered at the moment so I may need help with the interaction, but
Bats on 3
Batcomputer
Aqua on 4
Posidonis
There has got to be a solid engine in there, maybe Construction Site/Research Facility...its no Biznatch, but there seems to be extra card of almost your choice potential. Whether its quick enough/efficient enough/fast enough is still a question, obv w/Biznatch out there its a dead call in Silver, and I realy don't know how supported Modern is short of maybe the next two Mega's.

Some can argue Gypsy all they want but I'm still of the opinion that Black Lightning or Kendra are better two drops. Barry Allen on 4 is not completely necessary, he just fuels the TV combo as does Wally on 5 although the DLS version is the superior. Martian Manhunter on 6 is by far a better choice than Aquaman (I'd bet money on it, I'm that sure.) Superman is alright for a 7 drop but I would rather have WW. She has a better effect and stats.
Do we like Black Lightning because he absorbs breakthrough loss and can stun back 3 drops while his ability triggers, or am I missing something else entirely? I would only put him in as backup, and I see Red Arrow as having an ability that will always have an opportunity to work, where Black Lightning will only work maybe 50% of the time. Martian Manhunter is a better choice on 6 than Aquaman 100%. I do think all of the Flashes are really good, and warrant a spot on each curve. However, I do think that Superman on 7 is better than Wonder Woman, especially if you play with 3 or more Indestructible in your deck. I would make the argument that Superman's 16/16 stats put him over the top of WW's 17/14 stats. Although I suppose you might want to pack all 3, they are very versatile cards.
