A man in an old-fashioned coat was driving along listening to Christmas music when suddenly a tire blew out. Impossible, he thought. Not this car. As he got out to survey the damage, he realized that someone had laid a spike strip on the road, and he had driven right into a trap. He looked up just in time to be hit over the head and stunned. A young woman said, “You know, I’ve killed lots of vampires, but this has to be the weirdest one.”
“I am not a vampire,” protested the man as he struggled to his feet. “Not you,” the woman said as a thin man emerged from the other side of the road began to pour gasoline all over the car, an antique Rolls-Royce. “The car. And Christmas music this early in the year? That’s just tacky.”
Before the first man could stop them, the thin man struck a match and flung it at the car, which was quickly engulfed in flames. As the man watched in horror, the car was rapidly reduced to a heap of smoldering junk. As the fire raced through the engine, the man clutched his chest and dropped dead.
Michiganj24 is dead! He was Charles Manx/The Wraith (town), an odd pairing of a man and a car that with their combined power were able to sustain themselves on the children they took to Christmasland, where they would remain young forever.
Their last major threat eliminated, the hunters could now enact the final stage of their plan. Armed with stakes, torches, and other weapons, they each set out after one of the remaining un-dead. Just before dusk, they were all in position and struck simultaneously, wiping out the vampire menace before they could rise again.
KitsuShel is dead! She was Thomas Eichhorst (town), Nazi-turned vampire with a penchant for cruelty from The Strain.
Hellsmurf is dead! He was Batman (town), Bruce Wayne from a reality where he fought Dracula and became a vampire himself.
Quebbster is dead! He was Lestat de Lioncourt (town), antihero vampire from Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles.
RorschachParadox is dead! He was Crovax (town) former member of the skyship Weatherlight from Magic: the Gathering, and now their sworn enemy.
The mafia has won!
The surviving members were:
Rokk_Krinn as Abraham van Helsing (mafia), OG vampire hunter and most well-known of them all.
RenegadeRoy as Robert Neville (mafia), protagonist of I Am Legend, last human in a world of vampires.
Stormcrawler as Buffy Summers (mafia), chosen one and star of the movie and tv series.
Grinner as Blade (mafia), premier vampire hunter of the Marvel comics universe.

RenegadeRoy, you are Robert Neville (mafia)
First appearance: I Am Legend (1954 novel)
You are seemingly the sole survivor of a plague that has wiped out most of humanity and turned them into vampires. You’ve been portrayed with varying degrees of accuracy to the source material by Vincent Price, Charlton Hesston, and Will Smith, as well as inspiring many zombie movies.
Careful analysis—Although the original character doesn’t have the scientific degree that many of the movie versions do, he nonetheless undertakes a very deliberate attempt to empirically study the vampires and learn as much about their condition as possible. You are a power cop. If you do not make the hit, as a day action you may instead target a player to learn what power they use that day.
Stormcrawler, you are Buffy Summers (mafia)
First appearance: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992 film)
“In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons, and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer.” That’s you. Portrayed by Kristy Swanson in the original movie, and more famously by Sarah Michelle Gellar in the tv series, you try to balance slaying vampires with all the normal struggles of getting through high school, which is quite a challenge.
Chosen One—you are uniquely suited to fighting vampires, with the First Slayer having been specifically created to counter them, and you inheriting that power. You are a roleblocker. If you do not make the hit, as a day action you may target a player to block their action.
It was just for a few minutes—you have an extra life.
Rokk_Krinn, you are Abraham Van Helsing
First appearance: Dracula (1897 novel)
Of all the characters in Stoker’s original novel, you are the only one to rival Dracula himself in how many adaptations you have appeared in. Much like the titular vampire, you have thoroughly permeated pop culture. Your portrayals by Peter Cushing opposite Christopher Lee particularly cemented your status as Dracula’s archrival. You are a polymath, with knowledge of a broad array of subjects, both scientific and supernatural.
An actual medical doctor, too—among your myriad disciplines, you are an accomplished physician. You are a doctor. If you do not make the hit, as a day action you may target a player and prevent them from being killed.
Well-respected—your vote threshold for elimination is 2/3 instead of 1/2.
Destructoboy, you are Simon Belmont (mafia)
First appearance: Castlevania (1986 video game)
You are one of a long line of vampire hunters in the Belmont family, and star of the first Castlevania game, as well as many sequels, spinoffs, and retellings. You have fought nearly every kind of supernatural menace, ranging from lowly ghouls to powerful threats like death himself.
Vampire Killer whip—The Belmont family uses many weapons in their fight against Dracula and his hordes, but the most iconic is their whip. Even if you don’t land a lethal blow, you can strike a target to throw off their aim. You are a misdirector. If you do not make the hit, as a day action you may target a player to cause their action to hit a random target.
Grinner, you are Blade (mafia)
First appearance: Tomb of Dracula 10 (1973 comic)
Although the movies with Wesley Snipes turned you into a “daywalking” vampire-human hybrid, in your original form, you were just an ordinary human who was really good at killing vampires. You especially hate Dracula and Deacon Frost, the vampire that killed your mother. Teakwood knives were your initial weapon of choice, although you’ve expanded your arsenal pretty significantly over the years.
Adaptive tactics—although you typically use a sword in later portrayals, you will use any weapons and tactics that will give you an advantage over the vampires. You are an inventor. If you do not make the hit, as a day action you may choose from the following list of powers to use that phase:
Aerosolized garlic—you may target a player and silence them. They will be unable to post (or be voted for) in the following phase.
UV Flashbang grenades—all vampires will be randomly misdirected this phase.
Perfect Intel—you may create a roleblock nexus around a target player, causing all other actions that target them to fail.
Disinformation campaign—you may use a controlled misdirect to target a player and force them to target another player.
Anticoagulant darts—you may target another player to poison them, permanently reducing their vote threshold by 1.
Each of the above powers may only be used once.
Bitten by Morbius—you have a town cloak.
Fake Claims--no vampires from The Southern Vampire Mysteries/True Blood are present in this game.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Hunters vs. vampires was the idea from the very beginning, but I did consider some different hunters. Alucard from Hellsing was almost in instead of Robert Neville, but I wanted to specifically have the hunters as non-vampires.
I added the extra life, town cloak, and increased majority late in the process, as I thought that the hunters might need a little something extra with them being outnumbered nearly 3:1 by the town. But I decided to spread around the protection instead of making one super-strong don. The extra life and town cloak both did come up, but Rokk's supermajority never did.

Adamical, you are Count von Count (neutral)
First appearance: Sesame Street episode 0406 (1972 tv episode)
While official sources have gone back and forth on whether or not you’re actually a vampire, a muppet inspired by Bela Lugosi is definitely good enough for me! You actually highlight one of the lesser-known elements of vampire mythology. In some European traditions, a way to protect oneself from a vampire was to scatter small objects, such as grains of rice, which the vampire would be forced to count. This is actually related to a real condition known as arithmomania, which is linked to OCD.
I LOVE to count... things—You not only love to count things, you need to count them. You are a clue cop. As a day action, you may target a player, and will count something related to their character, giving you a clue to their identity. You win when you have counted something from every other player remaining in the game.
Linkor, you are Count Chocula (neutral)
First appearance: Count Chocula cereal (1971)
You are the super-sweet monster with the super sweet cereal, Count Chocula! Originally designed by George Carn, the artist that also drew the Trix rabbit, you got a revamped look in 2014 by comic artists Terry and Rachel Dodson. Also, your first name is Alfred, so that’s a thing you know now.
Cowardly Count—Count Chocula (and the other monster cereal mascots) are frequently portrayed as easily scared. And with all these serious vampires around, you’re probably a bit frightened. You are a hider. As a day action, you may target a player to hide behind them, causing any action that would target you to hit them instead. But if the player you hide behind is killed, you will be as well. You cannot target the same player on two consecutive days. You are a survivor, and may win with either side.
Bubbajunk97, you are Puppet Angel (neutral)
First appearance: “Smile Time” (2004 tv episode)
You are Angel, tortured vampire with a human soul and private investigator. Except now you’re being tortured in a different way. In season 5 of Angel, you’ve been turned into a puppet while investigating a case where children are having the life forces drained while watching a popular television show. And to make it worse, now you’re caught in the middle of a war between vampires and hunters, and you’re going to have to fight your war through both of them.
This is WAR!—You are a serial killer. As a day action, you must target a player to kill them. You win when only you remain.
Felt is surprisingly durable—You have an extra life.
I'm the guy in the dark corner with the blood habit and 200 years of psychic baggage—You’ve been fighting for a long time, and you’re good at it. Each time you make a kill, you may choose one of the following—your hit cannot be blocked, your hit cannot be doctored, or your hit cannot be misdirected.
Fake Claim—you are the only vampire from the Buffy/Angel franchise present in this game. Any other vampire from that franchise can be claimed freely.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
As promised, significantly less neutral survivors than my Spider-Verse game , and this time they had a common theme of being the characters that are played for humor. Bubbajunk drew the serial killer role for his first game, which is a lot like learning how to swim by being thrown in the deep end. I do like that one of his first instincts was to murder his friend and take out Linkor early. Adam was so fun to read as Count von Count, I was sad that he got killed off early.
And he never got to use the bow, which worked exactly as a few people guessed, by making either the day or night phase repeat.

Michiganj24, you are Lord Ruthven (town)
First appearance: The Vampyre (1819 short story)
You are the first vampire recorded in English prose, and the originator of the aristocratic vampire trope. The Vampyre was initially credited to Lord Byron, but was actually written by John William Polidori, and came from the same ghost story challenge that inspired Shelley’s Frankenstein. You are wealthy and charismatic, but enjoy cruelty, and will especially seek out vengeance on those who have slighted you. You are also shown to be able to recover from “death,” by leaving your body exposed to the moonlight.
Cruel and Vengeful—you are a PGO. If targeted during the day phase, you will kill the player that targets you.
Moonlit ritual—once per game, you may target a dead player to resurrect them. If you do, you will not be a PGO that night, as your attention will be focused elsewhere.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Ruthven was originally a self-rezzer, more accurate to his original story, but I I thought it would be fun to play up his vengeful nature by making him a PGO, and instead making the rez a one-shot to be used on other players. He got a hilarious amount of people targeting him on D1, but Dboy drew the short straw and took the kill.
K-Ness, you are Carmilla (town)
First appearance: Carmilla (1872 novel)
You are one of Dracula’s predecessors, a vampire in the appearance of an innocent young girl. You are actually closer to 200 years old and sate yourself on the blood of young women, often after attempting to seduce them as friends, or lovers. You have appeared in several movie adaptations, and a version of the character also recurs throughout the Castlevania series.
Stalking your prey—One of the most compelling scenes in Carmilla is of her stalking her prey through a masquerade ball. The mask imagery has also been used in several adaptations. You are a tracker. You may target a player to learn who they target that day.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Like Ruthven, Carmilla is another of Dracula's predecessors, and I really like the novel. I thought tracker was a good fit for her based on masquerade scene in particular in the original novel.
Quebbster, you are Lestat de Lioncourt (town)
First appearance: Interview with the Vampire (1976 book)
You are one of the main characters of Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles series. Initially an antagonist in the first book, you become the protagonist for most of the series, and have been played by Tom Cruise and Stuart Townsend in movie adaptations. Your initial appearance was quite hedonistic, although later books featured a more rounded character, and by the end of the series, your power had grown significantly by drinking the blood of older vampires.
Telepathy—many vampires in the series have telepathic powers, and yours have grown considerably. You are a mason-maker and a guide. During the night phase, you may pm me the name of a player, and you will mason with that player and guide them during the following day.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Guides seem to be viewed as pretty low power, so I thought I would combine it with something else, and mason maker seemed fun. People kept trying to target Quebbster with powers that did nothing since he targeted at night instead of day, even after he said he didn't have a day action.
DarqFeonix, you are Count Orlok town)
First appearance: Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens (1922 movie)
You are the title character of the silent film Nosferatu, an unlicensed adaptation of Dracula, played by Max Shreck (and by Willem Dafoe playing Max Shreck in Shadow of the Vampire). You are more hideous in appearance than many depictions of the famous Count, and in particular the image of your shadow creeping up a staircase is one of the most iconic shots in horror cinema. Much like Dracula, you pursue the wife of your former guest, although the method of your defeat ends up being quite different.
Hideous visage—Your appearance is enough to startle even other vampires and paralyze them with fright. You are a roleblocker. As a day action, you may target a player and cause their action to fail.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Darq never really got a chance to do anything, falling victim to chaos as the CMD got randomly misdirected into sending the vig into him.
He was almost the Willem Dafoe version instead, because I find that whole concept highly entertaining.
JohannaMason, you are Charlie Manx/The Wraith (town)
First appearance: NOS4A2 (2013 book)
You are the antagonist of the novel NOS4A2 and the tv series of the same name, in which you are portrayed by Zachary Quinto. You are not a vampire in the typical sense, but through your bond with your 1938 Rolls-Royce Wraith, you are able to extend your life and vitality. You do this by abducting children in the Wraith and transporting them to Christmasland, where they never grow old. This also drains them of their empathy and humanity, but to you, you’re saving them.
I am the car, and the car is me—Your bond with the Wraith is so strong that you can’t die without it being destroyed, and you can drive it mentally, crossing vast distances by navigating dream roads. You are a busdriver. As a day action, you may target two players and switch their locations, so anyone attempting to target player A will target player B and vice versa.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
JohannaMason's only submitted action was to busdrive Grinner and Dboy on N1, then she went inactive. When I didn't get any immediate takers while looking for a replacement, I asked Mich if he wanted to jump to back in, since his role meant that he would have the least baggage in terms of knowledge from his prior role. He was conservative with actions, but was participatory.
KitsuShel, you are Thomas Eichhorst (town)
First appearance: The Fall (2010 book)
You are one of the vampiric antagonists of the Strain book trilogy and tv series. In the tv series, you appear earlier and more often than the books and are played fantastically by Richard Sammel. A former Nazi commandant, you were turned by the Master shortly after the war and have remained his most loyal servant since then.
Brutal administrator—You are fond of saying that your skill lies in selecting the exact right person for a given task. You know how to motivate with both the carrot and the stick, but you do seem to gain extra pleasure from using cruelty to motivate your underlings or even rivals to work for you. You are an encourager. As a day action, you may target a player, and that player will get to perform an additional action.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I really like The Strain, and I find Eichhorst a more interesting villain than the Master, so he was one of the first characters I wanted to include. I think if I were to do this game again, I probably would have had her target during the night instead of day, since that threw people off that she got interfered with. She also had some bad luck of targeting people the day they died, so they couldn't confirm her power.
Cuban Vader, you are Raziel (town)
First appearance: Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (1999 video game)
You are the former second-in-command of Kain, the vampire ruler of Nosgoth, and one of the two protagonists of the Legacy of Kain series. Cast out by your former lord, you embark on a quest for vengeance, uncovering secrets about your own past and that of the entire land along the way. Eventually, you find that you and Kain have both been used by even darker forces and must work together.
Soul Reaver—You wield the legendary Soul Reaver, an ancient sword of immense power. Through a series of time travel paradoxes, you discover that your own soul gives the blade its power to defeat humans, vampires, and even an elder god. You are a vigilante. As a day action, you may target another player to kill that player.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
In a game full of killers, I had a hard time deciding on who the make the vig. I ended up going with Raziel because he was lethal even to other vampires and I wanted to have a video game representative on the vampire side. He got messed with often, including unintentionally.
On Day 1, the CMD got randomly misdirected into Cuban Vader, which sent CV into Darq.
Morpheousdr3am3r, you are Max Lawrence (town)
First appearance: The Lost Boys (1987 film)
Joel Schumacher’s film The Lost Boys centers on two brothers, Sam and Michael, and their mother, who move to the town of Santa Carla, only to discover that the local biker gang is actually a group of vampires. To stop the vampires and prevent Michael from fully turning, they attack and destroy the head vampire and leader of the biker gang, David.
Except David isn’t the head vampire. You, the friendly owner of the local video store, are.
Manipulating from the shadows—You are adept at flying under the radar, while letting David and the rest of his gang have their time in the spotlight and draw the attention of any pesky vampire hunters. You are a pusher. As a day action, you may target a player A push them in front of a player B. Anyone targeting player B will instead target player A.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
So, I goofed here. This role was originally David, as the most recognizable vampire from the movie. He was a bodyguard to represent him being the decoy instead of the actual master vampire. But I had a doctor, a bodyguard, and a magnet in the town and thought that all seemed redundant, so I change it to Max and a pusher. But I forgot that I removed the doctor in the last edit, so the town ended up with lots of ways to redirect stuff, but no actual doctor. Morph did well with the role, though, including pushing the SK in front of the cop to soak up a kill and hilariously causing Grinner to silence himself.
Hellsmurf, you are Batman (town)
First appearance (as vampire): Batman & Dracula: Red Rain (1991 graphic novel)
Gotham City makes an amazing setting for vampires, and in this graphic novel, you fight Dracula himself, but only have the power to defeat him after also becoming a vampire. The sequels get even darker as you struggle to control your thirst for blood.
Still the world’s greatest detective—whatever else you may be now, you are still a brilliant detective. You are a cop. As a day action, you may target a player to learn their alignment.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Hellsmurf had a rough go. He actually submitted mafia as his target on 4 days, but a) got redirected onto himself, b) targeted mafia that was jailkept that phase, and c) twice targeted Grinner who had a town cloak. He only got "town" results all game.
The Darkstone, you are Strahd von Zarovich (town)
First appearance: Ravenloft (1983 D&D module)
You are the quintessential D&D vampire. Originally appearing in a one-off adventure, an entire campaign setting has sprung up with you and your castle at its center. In addition to the standard abilities possessed by D&D vampires, you are a brilliant tactician and a highly accomplished necromancer, and in some versions of Ravenloft, you have near deific-power in your domain of Barovia.
Mists of Ravenloft—You have the power to trap someone in your demiplane, surrounded by toxic mists that prevent any chance of escape. You are a jailkeeper. As a day action, you may target a player to cause that player and any other player targeting them to fail in their actions for that phase.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Darkstone did manage to mess with the mafia, but he also caused some town actions to fail, really illustrating what a double-edged sword the power is.
Girathon, you are Crovax (town)
First appearance: Weatherlight (1997 Magic: the Gathering expansion)
A former noble in Urborg and member of the crew of the skyship Weatherlight, you fulfilled a curse when you struck down the Angel Selenia. But your story did not end there. Instead, you were taken to Phyrexia and underwent compleation. Now you have an enhanced physique; the abilities to teleport, control flowstone, and feed off of life essence; and no conscience remaining, only madness and lust for vengeance. As the Evincar of Rath, you will crush all who stand before you, and grow more powerful with every life you take.
Flowstone Surge—Thanks to your Phyrexian compleation, you are able to manipulate the material flowstone, using it to fashion weapons for your armies. But flowstone can be a double-edged sword, both figuratively AND literally. You are a modified lawyer. As a day action, you may target a player. That player will have an extra vote in the following night phase, but their vote threshold will also be reduced by 1 for that phase.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I wanted an M:TG vampire in the game, and was considering Baron Sengir, Sorin Markov, or Crovax. Girathon messaged me almost immediately after I posted the thread with Crovax as one of his desried characters, and that settled it. I really liked the power that I gave him, but it never came up once. Girathon quit and got replaced by RP, who ended up targeting players that died or didn't vote that night, and then he went inactive as well. I would have replaced him, too, but at that point in the game, I didn't want to delay it for mutiple days just for it end immediately anyway.
Killingjoke101, you are Santánico Pandemonium (town)
First Appearance: From Dusk Till Dawn (1996 film)
In the original film, you are the evil queen of the vampires played by Salma Hayek, who lures men to their deaths with your hypnotic dancing. In the prequel and tv series, you are less overtly evil, and are shown to have a sympathetic background, but there is no escaping your destiny as a vampire.
All eyes on you—Whether it’s because they believe you to be a prophesied vampire queen, a priestess with a connection to the gods, or just an amazing dancer, people are fascinated by you, and you’re always the center of attention. You know how to use this to your advantage by distracting people from their intended targets. You are a magnet. As a day action, you may target a player. If that player would target anyone that phase, you will be their target instead.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Another good on my part--I missed killingjoke's pm when I was copying requested characters from my realms inbox to an excel sheet.
He said he did like Salma Hayek, though, so that kind of worked out.
I have no idea why people didn't believe his claim, especially since I had specifically mentioned this movie giving me the idea for the game.
Wade Wilson, you are Dio Brando (town)
First appearance: Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure #1 (1986 manga)
You are one of the main antagonists of the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure manga and anime. Unlike some characters, you were thoroughly evil well before becoming a vampire. You systematically engaged in psychological torture of your brother though adoption when you were only a child, and have remained focused on power and cruelty into adulthood. Eventually, you discover that an ancient stone mask can transform one into a vampire, and use that to gain further power and continue your conflict with the Joestar family.
Za Warudo—Through the use of your Stand ability, Za Warudo (The World) you are able to stop time briefly. During this frozen time, you are able to redirect actions and cause them to miss completely or hit different targets. You are a controlled misdirector. As a day action, you may target a player A and force them to target a player B with their power.
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I have no familiarity with this character, but did some research after Wade posted a picture in the sign-up thread. Seemed like a good way to include an anime character and different type of vampire.
Viciousbuddha, you are Vampirella (town)
First appearance: Vampirella #1 (1969 comic)
You are a humanoid alien known as Vampiri from the planet Drakulon, and are a creature of science.
You are the daughter of the biblical Cain and Lilith, and are a creature of the supernatural.
You may be both, or neither. Your continuity is a twisting one, with multiple origin stories and retcons coming from 3 different publishing companies. Your personality has shifted throughout various interpretations as well, but you are generally portrayed as being on the side of good, and restrict yourself to feeding on wrongdoers or synthetic blood.
Multiple origins, even more powers—You have even more of a variety of powers than you do origins and personalities. Quite a few of them are available to you in this game. You are a jack-of-all-trades. Each day phase, you may pick one power from this list that you haven’t already used. After using all powers, the list will be reset.
Super speed—Misdirect—your target will randomly hit another target
Enhanced senses--Reverse track—you will find out who else targeted your target
Telepathy--Power cop—you will find out your target’s power
Anthology host—Dragger—you and your target will appear in the write-up
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
I like Vampirella's multiple choice backstory and the way the recent comic series suggested that both may be paradoxically true.
I thought jack of all trades worked given her various powers and versions of the character, and it let me include another info gatherer that wasn't an info gatherer all the time.

TFW you already have a fake claim ready as soon as you see your alignment, and you've fleshed out everything you would say, then after all that work, you die night 1.
The only player the mafia lost was due to a PGO. There were definitely multiple things that factored into that, but I have to say that the biggest one was probably the passivity of the town. They didn't vote mafia out once, and at three out of five opportunities didn't eliminate anyone. I thought that having the first phase be an opportunity to get a special item would be a way for people to get at least some manner of voting patterns established without the usual debates over whether or not to eliminate anyone on day 1. But then there was also no elimination in the second phase cycle, or the third. I even extended the voting phases a couple times instead of sticking to 36 hour phases as I originally intended, and the town still couldn't get it together to actually vote out mafia.
I also had a couple players not sending in actions, which exacerbated the problem. Johanna only sent in 1 action before she was replaced. And rorschach came in after girathon quit, and originally was missing most of the night phases but still sending in actions, but by the end of the game he had gone completely silent as well. I considered looking for a third replacement player, but at that point I was really frustrated and the game was almost over anyway, so I figured it would be less disruptive to just let it play out instead of delaying it for multiple days again.

I thought that was why Roy tried to kill me in Gundam
Morph kind-of died here because of Gundam. When I get down to one game I become a little more focused on the win and because of his power, it meant I decided to go for broke and use him as a patsy (again, purely because of his power, not because of him or any harsh feelings about Gundam; it just was that I didn’t have shiny robots to distract me).
————
Speaking of “patsy lynches”, I wouldn’t be too harsh on people “not believing” KJ’s character. The most vocal ones about that were Mafia and we were using the massive amount of confusion caused by BD / CMD / Magnet / Pusher / Grinner’s brutal one-shot mass MD / etc to make it all seem too unbelievable. I suspect some of it came down to none of us expected you to be such a sadomasochist with those power combos out there, Vlad, so it made painting KJ as a fibber much easier.

N1/D1: Adam getting the bow as a neutral is hilarious. Girathon quitting is disappointing.
Mafia pops the mass MD, and absolute chaos ensues. Random. org is hilariously bloodthirsty and sends FOUR players into the PGO, the serial killer into himself , and the CMD into the vig, leading to the death of another townie. Destructo gets the short straw on the roll to see who gets offed by the pgo. I wonder with him flipping mafia, if people will suspect why he was quick to vote for giving the bow to rokk on N1. (Nope, never gets mentioned all game.)
N2/D2 Not a lot of action, but Rokk makes an unusual fake claim that he received a message telling him to vote for hellsmurf. To my surprise, no one questions this. Everyone (including the mafia) thinks the flash of light in the write-up is Auriel's bow, not the mafia's mass MD.
Mafia is nervous about the drag, but it's actually the vigilante that offs vicousbuddha. Linkor tries to hide with Quebbster, but Quebbs is jailkept, so Bubba shanks his friend. Mafia tries the same power cop+kill on a signle target as they did d1, with better success this time.
N3/D3
Adam shares his clue that Roy has a dog, but that doesn't narrow it down enough for anyone to figure him out. Rokk gets games mixed up and votes for Kedryn, which I find hilarious. Doubly so when Morph follows suit. I extend the phase because of election day, but still no elimination. This is not looking good for the town.
Bubba kills a neutral for the 3rd day in a row (his own extra life, Linkor, and now Adam). Mafia kills Wade and tries to use their one-shot CMD as a 2nd kill by sending cuban vader into hellsmurf, but wade CMDs stormcrawler into grinner, nullifying the mafia CMD. I make an error here that I realize later. killingjoke should have failed to magnet darkstone, which would let darkstone's jailkeep hit stormcrawler as intended. I had darkstone fail instead.
mich replaces the absent johanna.
N4/D4
Someone finally gets voted off! And...it's a townie. This is getting lopsided real fast.
bubba says he's from buffy but doesn't give a character name, so a few people peg him as Puppet Angel.
Mafia again tries to CMD the vig into the cop, but morph pushes bubba in front of hellsmurf and eliminates the sk instead. And to make bubba's day even worse, the one time he didn't choose the protection from roleblocks, he gets blocked by stormcrawler, so his own kill doesn't go through. tough break.
N5/D5
Town gets up to 4/6 votes on Roy quickly, then stalls out and ends the day with 1 vote each on three members of the mafia. Right targets, but no follow-through.
Stormcrawler tries to block cuban vader, but the kill still lands because CV is guided. Roy stakes vader. hellsmurf tries to cop grinner again, and hits the town cloak again. Oof. Morph pushes grinner in from of hellsmurf, leading to a self-silence.
N6/D6
Quebbs knows who CV targeted and that Stormcrawler must be Buffy, but Rokk has been claiming tracker after they killed Kenny and says that SC targeted Morph instead. Mafia know it's the endgame and goes for the frame job on morph and pulls it off.
Michigan is the last player that can interfere with a night kill, and mafia correctly identifies this. They block and kill him, and poison shel just in case it goes to another phase, but town can't win at this point, and the game goes to the mafia.

Although in the long run that actually worked out for us
And I didn't even have to claim I did have a good claim, though - Morbius, the town doctor (since by the time I might have needed to claim we'd confirmed that either there was no doctor or DF was the doctor, and either way no one could counter it).
Yeah, I was excited after piecing together that Morbius would be a safe and believable claim while doctor was also available for a perfect combo...and then we didn’t get to use it.

I don't see a Reverse Tracker on the town side either, that was an unfortunate loss. It seems the Town was a bit light on information gatherers and a bit heavy on misdirectors. Considering that the play style here tends towards "wait for information gatherers to find scum", it is perhaps not that strange the town floundered.
I was part of it too of course - I had a bad feeling about Roy from the start and in hindsight should have acted on it. StormCrawler popped up on my radar later.
I also feel my own role was perhaps a bit too powerful in some ways. Guide is not a "sexy" power, but it is very useful and being able to use it as a night action made it even more powerful. Only reason I didn't scream bloody murder about Storm being Buffy was that Cuban never confirmed he actually sent in Storm as a target, so there was a slight chance his action had been randomized. Not that I believed he targeted Morph, but...
Fun game though. It was unfortunate that so many of the information gatherers the town did have outed themselves with no pressure on day 2 though. I can understand why it's not terribly tempting to pressure then considering the risk of outing even more essential roles.

I definitely underestimated how powerful the mass md would be. And I would probably change your power a little bit too if I did it again.
