Then again I could see the Dowager as anything and I don't see Ray as a mason maker because he usually had intermediaries though it's been awhile since I've see that show.

Ok so I am still catching up in the thread just got off work.

Like I said I am Merlin from Merlin but the more people that target me the higher chance I have to fail since magic is illegal in my land and I don't want to be seen using it. I am an inventor, my role said Jack of all trades but Mag's gave me pretty free reign. I failed last night due to people targeting me. I can negate that draw back to my power but if I do I will cop as mafia and may also be framed for a crime. Which is why I was reluctant to.

I tried to power cop Darq for the last 2 nights without success. Night 1 I reverse tracked adamical and got Colonialbob and night 2 I copped Quebbs and got town. I will be negating my draw back tonight so that i can still succeed in my action and hopefully get protection.

Outside one of the lecture halls, one man waited for his target, sure they would be coming by any second. As he waited, he was surprised to feel a cold hand on his shoulder. Shocked, he turned around, only to see a woman standing there.
“Oops,” said the woman, “My mistake. I thought you were someone else.”
The man immediately forgot the encounter, but the woman walked away with a smile.

The detective (of sorts) was starting to piece together a puzzle. He may have been a goof, but he was good at what he does and had almost worked out exactly what was happening. Which may have been what attracted so much attention. The shot rang out in the darkness and the bullet hit the detective squarely between the eyes. The shooter never misses his target.
A little later, someone else walked by. He had also planned to find a more permanent solution to the detective but was delighted to find someone else had already taken care of this particular problem.
