I'm in the finals for A&A, and we had two tough games today, so its pretty accurate to say if my partner played alone he probably would have lost. [And even though I was 5th, I could have had a bad day too and not made the HC finals, although my A&A dice were hot alot of the time today.] So I'm glad I dropped out so we could team up.

I will have WOS prizes for "Chase for lanterns 2" so Dustin and I wont be the only ones with them, unless you all sell them.

The Wonder Twins, with Gleep, batman swing with thug in arm(Detective Comics 27), Atrocious, Red/green guy Gardner. When asked the wk employee could not confirm whether Atrocious was a chase, but he made a point to turn his head left to right.

My thoughts on the format for "Chase for lanterns two"

All "based" upon a spider-man "theme".

1 - Street level hero (200 point team. No member over 50 points. Modern age).

2 - Avenger team member (300 point Theme Team. Silver age).

3 - Related to Golden Oldie - (400 point team. Golden Age). No Anti Monitor.

4 - Still beats the cosmic big boys (500 point team. One member must have the power cosmic or Quintessence ability. THAT figure can be golden or Modern age. The others must be Modern age). No Anti Monitor. So the legals are...

Multiplayer Earthquake Madness

• 1 game, 3hr time limit
• Golden Age
• Start with a 200pt Team
• Every 2 rounds players will add between 100-250pts worth of figures to their force
  • Point amount starts at 100pts, increases by 50pts every addtion, and resets after 250pts.
• Highlander for non-generics
• Once a figure is KOed, it can't be used again by that player
• Additions are placed on the map withing 3 squares from a player's starting area

A continual modified Earthquake BFC is in effect for all maps:

• Triggers on a roll of 2-4 and deals 2 clicks of damage
• A successful roll triggers an Earthquake for all maps
• Damage is dealt to flyers
• Figures with Invulneribility or Impervious are dealt 1 penatrating damage instead of the 2 clicks
• Damage can't be Masterminded or avoided

Winner was the guy with Black Adam/Shazam and the 5 probs. He's the guy who beat Charles in round 5 of Sealed.

He's also a huge douche that I really hate to see win. He's only been playing Heroclix about six months, and I can tell you that the thing he's learned most about in that time is whining. Every missed roll against Charles, he would just scream out "####, ####, what a bunch of ####. What are the odds against that, huh? What are the ####in odds? Goddammit."

Well, I guess he learned to stack the odds with all those Probs.

... Spurs could have beaten it...

Homeslice won the WWChicago (I think) back in '07. He's a 2nd time champion.

As for the screaming part......there's always a couple at these events.

Is it multi player or one on one? How are there rounds I'd it's multi? Who came up with this idea?

For the chase 2 will there be an entry fee and where will it take place?

All you need is a stealthed range attacker, and half the time those probs are useless. Kill BA/SH and its game over.

But it was obviously easier to say than for anyone to do. I think my avengers team would have done fine against it.

Anyway, I won A&A again. So I can't say I made a bad choice by dropping out.
