So, my daughter shared with me today that the only thing she learned today at school was a new word in German. She's taking German. A guy in her class shared with everyone the German word for wedgie. First, I was surprised there would be a word for wedgie. But the word itself is priceless. Actually, the literal interpretation, that the teacher shared, is what's so hilarious.

Going from your literal interpretation I think it might be supposed to be "Arsch frisst Hose", which is not the expression for a wedgie (which would be "Ritzenflitzer", the literal translation of which is "something travelling through your butt crack with great speed". Of course it is far more poetic in German.).
