Here's a recap of some of my GAMA accomplishments.
I convinced the other 3 volunteers that we should be called "The Four Horsemen". I was Sting, and we had Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and the edgy choice of Chris Benoit.
I hugged Muncho.
Stealing York Peppermint Patties from the Alliance booth.
Stealing a ginormous pair of glizty green sunglasses from the Upper Deck booth (on St. Patrick's Day). The WizKids folk made me give it back.
Gave out random high-fives. I was surprised at how many people got excited to receive that.
Got castrated by a cute girl after slipping her a roofie.
Took random free swag from other booths, and claimed them as spoils of war. I gave them out to those I felt were worthy.
Things got slow in the WizKids booth, so I went to the Konami booth (YuGiOh) and offered to help out. The lady got confused as to why I was there, but was amused when I started getting people to stop by.
An AEG booth dude was checking out things in the WizKids booth. I told him that since he was in our booth, I needed to take his place in his booth. I got his name from his tag, and went to their booth and told them "Todd sent me to take his place". They were REALLY confused. However, they were cool about it, and I found out about their "black box" that they release on Black Friday every year. It's basically a really nice box that has some of their games in it, but nobody knows what it is. Plus, the games aren't the usual ones, but usually have a different skin, or are some type of variant.
I removed a big cardboard display of action figures from the Alliance booth. No one noticed! The WizKids people made me put it back...and no one noticed me putting it back, either.
I brokered a deal with another booth, and traded 8 packs of Dicemasters for 4 spinning D20 rings. One for each of the Horsemen.
I refused to let 2 guys from Games Workshop into the booth, claiming they were the enemy. I eventually let them in. In return, I got a really sweet Games Workshop bag that I'll use for groceries. I did hug the chap when he gave me the bag.
One of the WizKids reps was a bit of a control freak (yet still really cool and I can't wait to hang out with them next year). There was a display for the new (and very nice) Marvel pins. I kept turning the Ghost Rider pin 90 degrees, just to make them crazy.
So today/tonight we witnessed our 19 month old son put on the most impressive display of projectile vomiting since The Exorcist. At my in-laws dinner table, just as we were all sitting down to eat...His gut must be like a Tesseract or whatever, because he managed to cover about 1/2 the table, his high chair, several square feet of the floor, and my poor wife. He kept this up for a few hours, and we finally took him into the ER at the hospital my wife works at. Poor guy was listless and darn near unresponsive, but some anti-nausea meds and a little water& pedialyte later, and we are back home for the night.
Just thought I would share that with whomever is thinking about having (more) kids.
Stop feeding him mouse poop! I know you've plenty lying around but Jeez! Or cheese! Speaking of lying around, have you hooked up with that Winstead chick yet? I hear wintremute can help out with that.
I am going to have to buy stock in Gatorade and Kleenex if you're going to continue being out of the house this much on interviews.
I have some bad news on that front too (this seems like the most awesomely awkward time to come out with this...). She's not there either anymore - we are separated and likely divorcing...

Know that I don't blame you.
So you're saying she's available?
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.
