Welcome to the Last Poster Thread, hosted by BudPalmer and wintremute. This week, our special guest will be The Hoff. Our people are also in contact with a mystery man who has the initials C.L. Hopefully he will make an appearance later this week.
So, Bud, now that football season is finally here, what are your predictions?
I predict that the Colts will put up a surprising fight with the NY Jets to earn the first pick in next year's draft. I hope Rex Ryan and Beth Mowins don't cover another game anytime soon. I'm not sexist but her voice gets annoying. And maybe this should be blamed on Rex (who was a deer in headlights a lot. Felt like he forgot he had to talk about the game!), but she was trying to add her own color comments and kept having to break off from them to do play by play. Was seriously annoying. Maybe her with a better color commentator would be tolerable but I don't know. There's a couple other guys in my office who turned the game off because of her.

Great analysis and breakdown, Bud, but I disagree with pretty much everything you have to say.
The best will be the Seahawks. Their defense outclasses most other teams.
The Falcons are next. The NFC South is a tough division this year, and they're going to have a rough go of it.
The Eagles I am barely putting above the Cardinals, because of their schedule.
The Cardinals have talent, but...they're the Cardinals.
The Ravens have too much money tied up in a QB that has slipped. They'll be the worst birds this year.

The Falcons haven't lost much from last year. Granted the loser of the Super Bowl rarely gets back the next year but I think they have a decent chance.
The Ravens defense is nothing to sneeze at this year. They are almost as good as they were in 2000. You'll see, they'll surprise you!
The Seahawks need to get their offensive line figured out before their defense will make a difference (cause they will be too tired from being on the field the whole game).
As a Philly fan I have to put them above the Cardinals who like you said are the Cardinals.
And that's all the justifyin' Ima do!

We're back after a brief advertisement from our sponsor, Styx. Quantum Field Theory has little relevance in the Last Poster Thread, as we are rather linear - but it's still an important tenet in science, and important message to get out to our listeners.
I've watched Daredevil three times. The first was by myself, the second was because someone wanted to watch it with me, the third was because the other person wanted a refresher before Defenders. At no point did it feel like a task. Typing this is reminding me how much I enjoyed Defenders and now I want to watch it a second time.
Daredevil season one has a very good case to make as my all-time favorite season of anything ever.

Who is this mysterious person who can't be defined?
Is it your girlfriend?
Your boyfriend?
Is it your granny? That's so sweet!
Your imaginary friend? (No, that's not sad at all!)
Is it Basil Fawlty?
