sent you an e-mail about my ranger changes that I made, I just want to be more capable in close combat as well.
Just looking at it now. I understand what you want to do, but you went about the weapons wrong. The Longsword can be wielded as a one-handed weapon, so you don't need the shortsword. The handaxe can be wielded off-hand, but you should have a dagger instead, because it'll have a much higher chance of hitting, between your Dex mod and proficiency bonus.
And, if the idea is to use twin strike as a melee attack, it just won't work out like you think it will, in combat. You can't use it unless you have two weapons in your hands. So, you put your greatbow away, which is thankfully a free action. But you can't use Quick Draw as efficiently as before. Before, you could just fling out with your longsword with one of your at-wills, easily. Now, you have to spend a minor action to bring out your dagger, THEN hit with Twin-Strike, Quick-Drawing the Longsword. Not much of a penalty, but it's something to consider.
That being said, I never looked at Twin Strike closely enough to see that it could be used as a ranged attack. Guess everyone was always talking my ear off about two-blade rangers, I never thought it went both ways.
That again being said, losing Warning Shot is a tragedy, when you consider how easily several of the other already-built characters could facilitate all that damage. That again again being said, I can't argue with Twin Strike, nor can I argue with Fading Strike. And depending on everyone else to facilitate your stuff can get frustrating sometimes. Eventually, they have their own stuff to do.
So, my suggestion....is what I'm emailing back to you. Selling the shortsword, putting a meaty longsword back in there, selling the handaxes, putting a dagger or 3 back in there, and leaving everything else alone. I also customized your power cards so that they show you a whole bunch of possible attacks. You'll see what I mean about the daggers. And then, when you hit level 2, we'll talk again. Maybe there's something not right. I think you'll ask to have Skirmish Shot switched back out for Evasive Strike, but I think it's one of those you won't value until you see it in action.
tl;dr - Good show, I'm switching your weapons around again to fit what you're trying to do.

Yeah, I just felt that since I laready have Fading Strike that Evasive Strike just felt redundant, and I don't want to be redundant.
Seems pretty good right now.

Didn't really think of that.
Huh.

Do you mean the file I sent you? Because that's the exact same build, but with a longsword and daggers, instead of a shortsword and handaxes. Because if you use a shortsword, I'm just going to automatically pretend you're not using one, and are instead using a longsword. I'll eventually make it a magical enchantment, even. "The shortsword that isn't, because why?" is what I'll call it. It'll be super cool. You'll do longsword damage, and not know why. It'll be a secret, that I've told you, that I'll somehow make you forget. I believe amnesia dust will be involved.

Well, in the olden days the motel was a smaller, cheaper version of the hotel. These days, I really dunno.
It's still true. Most Motels are outside access only. Hotels are more lavish, you walk in to the building, there's lounges and gyms and restaurants etc. The room is bigger.
