Wintermute's animosity towards camels tends to increase during the holiday season.

Camels smell bad. And one of our soldiers drove into one in the middle of the night somewhere north of Kuwait City, trashing the vehicle, camel, and killing himself in the process. Camels have a nasty temperament too. Stupid camels.

So I took our 3 dogs for a nice relaxing, but dark as hell walk tonight around the neighborhood. The oldest one, Lola, managed to step in the stinkiest dog#### I've ever smelled, and tracked it into the breezeway. Had to clean her paw by hand, it was so smushed up in the paw. Then had to steamclean the carpet. And it still stinks.

So #### camels AND dog poop.

Guess I'm the "Weekend Warrior" now.

I would much rather be the Ultimate Warrior, but Weekend is okay too.

I begin my vacation week tomorrow. I had the weekend off as per normal, but it will feel extra special tomorrow when I don't leave for work at 7:15am or so!

You get off the whole week of Thanksgiving? Is that normal?

We are on a balanced calendar, remember? We have a shorter summer (6 or 7 weeks), but reap the benefit of a few longer vacations sprinkled through the year.

I LOVE it! The difference in marginal utility between 9 or 6 weeks in the summer to me is nowhere near as high as those weeks during the year.

I participated in some gluttony Sunday, 1st of 3 Thanksgiving feasts.

Nothing, really. I thought about it, and I talked about it with my friends who were involved with Clix, but nothing came of it. I still wear my championship shirt proudly, though.

Did you get to design or select a figure or an ATA? Or did you get a t-shirt that says I won the HeroClix individual championship in 2009 and all I got was this t-shirt.

TG with my family last Sunday - I made chocolate, dark chocolate chip cookies with cherries; chocolate chip cookies with bacon topped with maple sugar; fudge pie and Brownies



TG with in-law family on Thursday - Making deviled eggs, Fireball oatmeal raisin cookies, chocolate pecan pie

(I make a more mustardy deviled egg and top half of them with an olive slice and Desert Heat seasoning from Buffalo Wild Wings and the other half get sprinkled with super fine ground bacon.)



TG with neighbors on Saturday - Making brownies with Cherry Chocolate Baileys Irish Cream, maple pecan pie and a dark chocolate fudge pie with caramel whipped topping and caramel apple cookies and also 3 dozen deviled eggs

We are also smoking 60 pounds of ribs instead of turkey.
