At least the Angel got to do something before you took him down. I'm strangely drawn to him, despite the fact that he doesn't really do much.

"I've got to hit this one hard and fast before he can use his vertigo inducing powers on me," Sentry decided and flew in at superhuman speed. By the time Count Vertigo had seen the threat and decided to use his powers to counter it, he had already been knocked unconscious by the Sentry's blow.

"Geez!" Arachne gasped in shock at seeing her ally dropped so quickly. "That was brutal."

"And we're not done yet," Iron Man said, hitting both her and Firestorn with repulsor blasts from his gauntlets.

"Keep up the pressure, Avengers," the Wasp said, pressing the attack on Firestorm. "And, uh, anyone else who's on our side who wants to keep up the pressure," she ended lamely.

"It does kind of dilute the effect, having all these mixed superhumans together," Quasar nodded, but followed up with his own attack, a blast with his quantum bands on Arachne. "Hard to come up with a good battle cry."

"I kind of like 'Die!' myself," Sabretooth said lunging at Manticore. The archer barely managed to avoid disembowelment, also ducking a blast from Magneto as well.

"Not really suitable for us Avengers," the Wasp frowned, really uncomfortable with having someone like Sabretooth on her side. Magneto was bad enough, but at least he wasn't a complete savage.

"I don't understand you guys. What's avenging all about if not killing someone who wronged you?" Sabretooth asked.

"If you have to ask, you'll never get it," the Wasp gave up.

Horrible turn for me, yes. But I'm still elated over defeating Spectre.

"Oh - cough - no you don't - cough," Firestorm said, transmuting the sleeping gas into harmless oxygen before it could have too much effect.

"Interesting," Sandman considered.

Iron Man blasted at Manticore with his repulsors. Somehow, Obsidian channeled his dark energies back up the beam to disrupt Iron Man's armor. "That Obsidian character's really been making a pest of himself," he complained. "Sentry, do you think you can do something about him?"

"I can try," Sentry said gamely. He flew at Obsidian and grabbed a floodlight from the plane, turning it's light on the dark hero.
