What I want to know is how they decided who got that job. It is someone from the local municipality, so they have multiple employees. There were options. Did they draw straws? Rochambeau?

The funniest part is after the initial cut, in a genius move, decides to move in front of it for a split second.



Some background on this. The whale washed up on a beach near a small Canadian town about a week ago. It basically was the main story on local news each day. "What should we do with this?" was the main topic in those broadcasts. Each day the news reports got more panic in their delivery until they started to word it as the town was being held captive by the threat of this thing exploding and stinking up the whole town for weeks.....

...So the solution was wait until it got really bloated and poke it with a sharp stick?
