My biggest regret/anger/whatever was not seeing Van Halen on the 1984 tour. I was in high school, and the concert was in Albuquerque, which was 4 hours away from my home town. My best friend was going, his dad was taking him, and I was allowed to join them. My parents said, no.
More recently, I really wished I would have seen In This Moment when they toured in 2012. I think that show was epic.
A romanticized show that I saw was Faith No More/Guns N Roses/Metallica. Plus I've seen the Beastie Boys a few times.
Van Halen would have been real neat to see for sure.
Saw In This Moment open for Megadeth. They were not good at all.
How was the Faith No More/Guns N Roses/Metallica concert? Who was the better performer? Was GNR or Metallica the headliner for your show?

My wife and I saw Pink Floyd in Birmingham AL in 1994. It was one of the best concerts I have ever attended.
Motley Crue is fun and worth seeing once.
Pink Floyd is an awesome band to see. I never had the chance to see them.

Too much down time on my job. I’m in HVAC. I had this forum open on my monitor while I went out to grab lunch, and the head honcho walked in and jumped to conclusions. This was Wednesday, and he fired me Sunday evening through a poorly spelled and punctuated text message.

Some musings from an IT Professional:
Never leave a computer unlocked if you are not sitting in front of it.
A quick shortcut for a Microsoft device is the Windows Key ( ⊞ ) and L at the same time locks the computer, requiring a password to log back in.
If your computer will not lock or allow you to log off or somehow otherwise secure the device then close all applications and reboot as you get up, every time.
I lock my computer almost every time someone walks up to chat even, although I now keep some of the sensitive stuff on my 3rd monitor that can only be seen from inside my cubicle. As well as the browser I use for personal web surfing.

Not a bad idea. I didn’t want to be dishonest, but if future employers are gonna be trigger-happy and not even give me a warning...
So I had a great non traditional Thanksgiving with the wife. I cooked an Italian feast, not that I'm Italian. Braciole (flank steak stuffed with prosciutto, mozzarella cheese, pecorino romano cheese, breadcrumbs, golden raisins, garlic, toasted pine nuts, parsley and basil), broccoli rabe (with garlic and red pepper flakes), pasta salad (farfalle, roasted red peppers, black olives, capers, chicken, red onion, extra virgin olive oil, Italian seasoning), regular salad (spring mix, mozzerella, toasted almonds, red onion rings, segmented clementines and home made dressing), rosemary garlic bread and for dessert figs and gelato parfaits by Bindi (coppa cafe and coppa spagnola).

My biggest regret for concerts I did not go to was the Ramones in 5/90. I, also, regret not seeing the Beastie Boys, ever. And, I am bummed every time I've ever seen the Bad Brains, HR wasn't singing.
☹

I saw Pink Floyd on their Pulse tour in 95 at the Vet in Philly, which was freaking awesome. I've also seen The Exploited and Mucky Pup in Allentown where riots broke out on two separate occasions, damn skinheads. Songs have been written and documentaries have been made, about how rough the Allentown music scene was in the late 80's early 90's. Imagine having a foot tall mohawk (like I did), and 95% of the audience is skinheads. Can you say target?

I haven't been a LPCer that long, is this the 1st time this thread(s) has caused someone to lose their job?
Best of luck in future endeavors Wally!
Thanks a bunch! I have a feeling they would have found another excuse to fire me, this was just convenient. When I was hired in July I was told they didn’t lay off for lack of work, and we’d been running extremely slow lately. But I think it’ll work out better this way anyway. It’s also given me some inspiration for some new customs: Carnage, Doctor Octopus, Superior Octopus, and Godspeed.
