Law Enforcement ain't exactly glamorous and action scenes. It involves a lot of science, and looking at a lot of dead people, and it's a very hard life. Heck, even the more action oriented parts of it ain't easy; there are plenty of times, I'm sure, that if things had been a hair different, I'd have ended up growing up without a dad. And actively deciding to pull the trigger on someone, it isn't an easy experience.
It takes a special sort of person for that sort of job. But then, I suppose every job takes a certain type of person.

any of you know if Booster Gold 31 was the last one?
No, the series is still being published. However, it was the last issue to be drawn and written by Dan Jurgens. Next come the JLI creative team of Giffen and DeMatteis. (Funny thing, though, I also thought it was the last issue. Glad that DC isn't cancelling yet, since Booster Gold is one of the more enjoyable ones out there.)

Ok cause it saying an end of an era and the way the issue ended confused me.
End of an era = end of Dan Jurgen's run on Booster Gold. Thassall.
I always found it funny that Dan Jurgens created Booster Gold, but that the character didn't really take off until he appeared in the pages of JLI, usually in cahoots with Blue Beetle.
It was cool that series like "52" or his appearance in the Justice League cartoon brought Booster back to being popular.
