Finally got to seeing The Hobbit. Don't know what took me so long to get around to it. Oh, right, it's nearly 3 hours long. Glad I got to see it before it left theaters. Not really anything bad to say about the movie. Other than Thorin being something of a DB, I think I liked these characters more than those from LotR

I was hoping it was going to be one of those "so bad it's good" type movies. No. It's just bad.

Maybe if there had been some nudity I would have enjoyed it more.

The only awesome part was a cool invasion with giant space zeppelins that were aircraft carriers that housed UFO's that were Nazi space fighters. Someone needs to make a videogame using those images.

Yes. This movie would have made a better videogame.

Oh... I totally forgot they remade that. Hell, I watched the remake and totally forgot about it. It was just that bland.

I actually watched Iron Sky last night. I was a tad drunk playing clix with my buddy and we found it on Netflix to put on in the background. It was funny from the bits we paid attention to. I liked that the nazis turned the black dude white. That bit was stupid-funny. I also dug their space zepplins and the whole 'thats not a computer... this is a computer' joke.

This movie still sounds awesome. I might have to watch it to see where it all went wrong...

Finally watched Dredd. Truly awesome stuff.

Dark Knight Returns Part II - pretty freakin' sweet.

(I'm a bit behind on my movie watching but getting my promo copy in the mail a couple days ago meant I was making time.)

Like I said, the kids are on an Adam Sandler kick right now. I'd seen it before, years ago, and enjoyed it just as much again last night as I did the first time around.

Watched Do-Deca-Pentathalon and A Bag of Hammers late last night on the Netflix streaming. I wanted a little more from both, but neither was by any means bad.

I know this doesn't really count, but I just watched Dexter season 5 for the first time and just blew through the whole season in two days. #### was intense.


As for movies... I just rewatched Serenity. That was an awesome flick!

I re-watched The Thing prequel. I didn't enjoy it as much this time around. the monsters are cool and disturbing, but the story's just not there. they quickly gloss over the suspense and paranoia in favor of running and explosions.

I recently saw Trolls on netflix. Its in a different language but i didn't mind reading subtitles. It was defiantly worth it. i give it a 4 out of 5.

Watched the good ol' Tim Burton Batman. Michael Keaton is my favorite Bruce Wayne and Batman.

Are you talking about 'Troll Hunter'? My buddies and I used to get together for a 'cheesy' movie night once a week, and that was on of the movies we watched. It's so bad, it's good

I just watched The Eagle.
It wasn't bad, really, your average run-of-the-mill action movie.
I am disappointed, though, because I expected something different. More legionairies.
