Ugh! Got picked for jury duty. Three days of this crap! But it could be worse it guess. I could have a days worth of work to come home to.

So glad that Netflix and Amazon Prime allow us to binge watch shows. While I've yet to finish Daredevil, we're on the 4th go around of Superwings and the godawful Tom the Tow truck.

Maybe the 3rd time through sam the Fireman. Yay.

She is based in Washington D.C. Probably why Bud and Spike didn't want a fourth wheel this summer.

After spending a significant part of her adult life in Africa, I'm not sure Bud and Spike would do it for her anyway.


BTW Phant- we checked out Piroro the Penguin and yeah, the kids watched it intently. I swear there is some magic musical component of what kids watch, because the 1 yr old will ignore a cartoon that is geared to older kids or ignore a sports event, but let certain cartoon voices or tones or rhythms be audible, and she is sucked right in!

I think it is pacing. The show can't be too fast for them. I tend to notice that it takes forever for things to happen in these shows, which is like watching a soap opera or a battle scene from Dragonball Z.
