Add that most games require survival as an unstated win condition for town and scum, since only neutrals are told.

I've been on a townie roll lately. Only mafia once out of my past 5 or 6 games.

Peer's ahd a very long and complex story regarding priests, siblings, and last man standing survival conditions, that convinced everyone to disallow it.

It's allowed in my games, so I'm over it.

Is it just me, or does this thread not have the rules to Mafia in it?

If you die, you're dead.

Dead is the status of being no longer in the game.

People who are no longer in the game cannot win the game.

The GM has final say over everything in their game.

Step 1: You vote for a player during the day phase. If a person recieves a majority of votes they are eliminated from the game.

Step 2: Read your role, follow its instructions.

Step 3: Repeat Steps 1 and 2 until you either die or the game ends.

You know what I mean. There's the 10-12 rules that mods post at the beginning of every game thread, in addition to a link to mafiascum. If we're going to say that the rules are here, they should be here, too.

The only person you can pm durign the game is the mod, unless told otherwise by the mod.

How do Trackers read a Misdirected target?

Tracker A targets Killer B who targets Victim C

However, a Misdirector D also targets Killer B, randomly pushing him to Victim E.

Does the Tracker get results "Your target targeted Victim C" or "Your target targeted Victim E"?

It should be the person he actually targeted.

So in this case, "Your target targeted Victim E."

Depends how well the mod can tell a joke.
