What time are the grinders starting on Saturday? Also, roughly how long does it take to make it through the registration line? I am trying to plan my Saturday and would like to know what time I need to get there.

I'm kinda curious, with all the information about these grinders and knowing that GF Cap is being used, why haven't we seen a single dial? or ANY information about them at all? Obviously someone is there posting updates for us, so what's the deal?

Someone on the realms (I don't remember the exact post and frankly can't be bothered) read Gravity Feed and substituted Regular Booster in a post, based on wishful thinking. Thereafter, everyone was a runnin' and a shoutin' that we would be getting to open Cap boosters early.

To be fair though, WK has traditionally used new product for at least one event at Origins when possible. During the first battle for Galactus, we opened five boosters of Ultimates about three weeks before they went on sale to the public.

It's still new figs, so huzzah.

Yea I thought the grinders today were 5 GF boosters.

As far as dials getting posted, let's all remember these people are at a gaming convention. We are all sitting around eating cheetos and arguing with each other about stuff that doesn't matter at all. So while we all are on the edge of our seats to get some dials, just remember they are at a gaming convention with a ton of fun stuff going on. I wouldn't want to waste 15-20 minutes of my con posting dials for all of the cheeto munchers here. At least wait until after 6 PM EST or whenever the con closes for the day.

Fair enough.....but he mentioned that tommorrow was the Cap GF event......and that he thought it was 5....but it is actually 4.

This event will be limited to 32 players so be sure to secure your place early because everyone in this event will get a prize. Build the best team and tower over the competition!
Cost for this event will be $48.
Availability/Schedule: Thursday at 1 PM

HeroClix Captain America Booster Event: Join us for this very special sealed event! Purchase one 1 Giant Size X-Men booster and 4 Captain America single figure boosters from us. Using the contents of your booster build the best 300 point force you can to defeat the competition! This event will be limited to 32 players so be sure to secure your place early.
Cost for this event will be $24.
Availability/Schedule: Friday at 1 PM

HeroClix National Championship “Grinder” Qualifying Event: Want to play in Nationals and prove you’ve got what it takes to be the BEST? “Grinders” are sealed qualifiers made up of 8 people. Players can participate in as many sealed qualifiers as they want in order to try to earn one of the slots in the finals. Each sealed event will be run for 3 rounds and the winner will qualify for the finals. This event will utilize 2 boosters from the DC 75th Anniversary expansion.
Cost for this event will be $24.
Availability/Schedule: Thursday-Friday from 10 AM-6 PM and 2 Last Chance Grinders on Saturday at 10 AM before the Finals

HeroClix National Championship Final Event: THIS IS IT! You’ve battled through the grinders and victory is in sight! Build the best 300 point Modern Age force! Fight it out with the rest of the Top 16 and see who emerges victorious as the 2011 HeroClix National Champion!
Cost for this event will be covered by Wizkids.
Availability/Schedule: Saturday at 2 PM

But it is a sealed event, not a grinder, hence why I was confused.

So tomorrow we'll learn all the GF dials. Then next week, we will be getting the official previews of the GF dials. It would be nice if they could just skip the pointless GF dial previews since we'll get them tomorrow.

Surely the solution of to send hcrealms missionaries far and wide to bring these unfortunates in to the fold.
