Anyway, I agree, Pegasus. Maha's there because it has more attack points than most of the cards I'd have to replace it with, other than Tribute Monsters, which I'm staying away from. It's mostly a placeholder until a more useful, accurate monster comes along . . . such as Magician's Valkyria, or King/Queen's Knight. Right now, he's in here mostly to try to work with Horn of the Unicorn and Mage Power. Slim chance of either/or happening, though.

Maybe I'll run The Rock Spirit. Special Summon, ATK/1700, becomes ATK/2000 in opponent's Battle Phase, might work, esp. with so many EARTH cards.

Now, taking out HotU sounds like a plan. I've always like Zero Gravity: I mostly use it as an attack-stopper or a bluff, by setting it while putting Mystical Elf or Kuriboh (what was I thinking?) in attack mode. Always fun to say, "I summon my ultimate creature: the unstoppable Everlasting Puffball!"

Next, Cyber Jar: I think I explained this earlier, but Yugi actually owns this. It's seen on his table in episode 85, along with most of his Battle City deck (Slifer, Magnet Warriors, Dark Magicians, Buster Blader, Graceful Charity, Change of Heart, etc). Unfortunately, it, Premature Burial, the second Giant Soldier of Stone, and Magic Jammer never saw play in the anime.

I'll consider Magical Hats, though: with so many extra, super-situational, nearly-useless S/Ts in this deck, it'll help give me what I need it when I need it. I just wish Yugi had run some cards to potentially combo with it . . . stupid CEDevices and Dark Coffins, not appearing in his deck.

So, in the near future, we'll probably see:

- Maha Vailo
+ The Rock Spirit
- Horn of the Unicorn
+ Zero Gravity

Expect my deck to be updated in the next couple of days.

That is true, I've seen still shots from when he built his deck on the KC Blimp. But strangely it never appears in his deck, and even stranger is the fact that in the dub Cyber Jar was changed into a Magic Card. Weird... At any rate, it does work for the deck.

Thanks, all. I made the changes I said I was going to make. Also, HotU came out completely, and I put in a Chain Destruction as a side-deck against things like D.D. Warrior Lady.

Vash: I really don't use this deck. I have a Traditional Format that I run, but I do this to refine it for when I get better situated with Advanced Format, using my other decks (my area is almost exclusively Traditional, and I am among four people I know that actual play Advanced at all). This week, I'm running an Advanced Chaos Deck.

Speaking of chaos, Yugi's deck now officially contains the Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, thanks to Genex Episode 19. Which means that, as soon as I get a spare or switch to another Deck Theme, I will add it to this deck list. Summoned Skull will be removed completely for it.

Well, I added BLS-EotB. When I put him in last night, I forgot that I only had Mystical Elf covering the LIGHT monsters. I figured that out while talking about St. Augustine in World History . . . XD

So, now Watapon and Maha Vailo are in it. Take a looksie now, folks, and keep 'em coming.

God-willing, I'll be replacing some cards with my Silent Swordsmen when I get the rest of the set. More Light Chaos food. Heh.

EDIT: I added my Silent Swordsman LV3 to the deck, because 3 LIGHT monsters just isn't enough for me. Also note that I added some Deck Statistics, including the win I just had with this deck over a friend of mine.

BTW, I put this deck together about two hours ago, and its record stands at 1-0. So far, so good.

Cyber Jar is main-decked, though.

And, I tested this (meaning BLS-EotB) out a little bit with my Traditional Format Yugi deck. That meant I had Witch, Sangan, and Graceful to help in speed. Three LIGHT cards (Maha, Watapon, Mystical) didn't work out fast enough, and BLS became a pretty useless topdeck/opening hand--worse than the time I drew Watapon first.

Not that SSLV3 is any better, I guess. But, it can be okay. It's a little bit of added insurance, and should come in handy more than the OVM I had in its place.

But, yeah, you're right. It isn't that good to use right now. I wish that Queen's, King's and Jack's Knights would come out. Or Magician's Valkyria. That way, I'd have some real LIGHT food.

I'm thinking of making a Jou deck, if I get Gearfried the Sword Master. But, I'm mostly looking forward to building a Judai Yuki deck when The Lost Millennium shows up this summer.

wow very nice deck, and its so dentical to yugi's deck, but what about valkiriyon the magna warrior, other than that, it looks like a very fun deck to play with. 9/10

You jerk! I don't like you, because from where I am, your deck is just... GRR!!! I'm going to keep myself from saying anything because there are small children on the thread (But note the possible verbal thrashings that could occur) and so on.

9.99999999999/10, because no deck is perfect, but this one is pretty darn close to emulating "Yugi-Boy". Now all you need is one of those guady upside-down pyramid things.

This looks perfect for a Yugi Deck, I would recomend a Swft Gaia(he uses it and it is good), and of course add a Kuriboh it's famous for Yugi....

Overall I give this a outstanding 10/10!! This is my first one given so feel a little prouder about this one. Great job HalHornCorSec

I'd say that Swift Gaia is an okay card--one of my friends has it in his "everything under the sun in a 40-card deck" deck. But, I for one don't like using it.

And, the reason I took Kuriboh out is because it was one of the only monsters that wouldn't necessarily hurt to take out for my LIGHT Chaos Food. He and Watapon are interchangeable, at any rate. Expect him to leap from the bench to the starting lineup as soon as some of the better LIGHT monsters Yugi plays get released. *Glares at Shueisha for not giving me Marshmallon, Knight Trio, and Magician's Valkyria*

I may consider building a deck based entirely around Atem's Ceremonial Deck, in which case I would run Swift Gaia. Someday, when stuff like Tricky get released.

Finally, to future posters: I asked a while back about Hane Kuriboh (the card Yugi gives to Judai Yuki in the first episode of GX). The question was, when it gets released in The Lost Millennium this summer, should I put it in this deck? It was Yugi's card, and is just so--I don't know how to describe it. I mean, who wouldn't want a Kuriboh with wings in their deck? XD

EDIT: I just found out that [Brainwash - Brain Control] is confirmed for The Lost Millennium. Its effect, according to Spike and Baron's, is that I can pay 800 Life Points to take control of an opponent's face-up monster until the End Phase. Should I run this when it comes out, considering Brain Control has been used for more than Change of Heart by Yugi?

hal,Definently get brain control and keep change of heart.with all tose high level monsters theirs no telling when you might need to take (by force)your opponents monsters and tribute summom them.Definently use Hane-Kuriboh i agree XD
*new right now iam looking into new light cards, the Queens knight jacks knight and kings knight, those cards can really come in handy with BLSEOTB,also i would consider looking into Magician of faith since he did use it, and Magicians valkry when she comes out.
