2) a Mech, a VTOL, some infantry, an artillery (0)
minimum 3 DF donars and 2 BR sprints (+3)
I tend to use 2 or 3 Donars a Mech and fill in the rest with infantry so I will give myself a 1.5 rounded up to a 2.
3) teach in detail what tactical mistakes your opponents made (+2)
4) I like Mechs, but they're just not worth their points (+2)
- The game went downhill ever since FFE (-1)
- Your venue needs more competition (+3)
For these I gave myself a 1(3+2-1=4 4divided by three= 1.xxxx)
5) your DF Donar (+4)
6) go for the final DFA! (-3)
7) run Mech(s) into trees (-1)
8) have terrible heat dials (+1)
9) I couldn't go, but am saving up for it next year (+1)
You should have given the Highlander faction -5, instead of 0.
If it was only so, I should have gotten -1.
Your protest of your result is indeed a sign of scrubbiness ...
But to say your favorite faction sucks royally is so not scrub!
If you want scrubness, you must b*tch about cheese, preach Mech righteousness, and declare how cheese poggers are so uncool and how you are so much better than those low-lifes. Oh, and preach how MWDA should be B-tech.
Oh, on a random note, I think burcs looks better as burx. :)
hmmmm ... b*tch and B-Tch ... I think I found a similarity ;)

I guess, I'm not doing my best to be a scrub huh! Ok... Ok.... I'll take your tips and do my best to be a better scrub. :)
Hmmm.... those dialogue surely reminds me about......
Oscar and Telly on how to be a grouch-keeter.
- positive 1 to 10: You like to play for both winning and for fun, but enjoy winning whenever you can. Cheese is ok in moderation.
You forgot 1 answer in the Swordsworn Mech question.
: are great to trade to newbies after you convince them that the DF Donar they just pulled is junk and you'll be nice and trade them an awesome SS mech for it. +5
1) Faction? What's that? (+5)
2) minimum 3 DF donars and 2 BR sprints (+3)
3) take the prize and go (+4) teach in detail what tactical mistakes your opponents made (+2) (hmm maybe a +3 here) :)
4) I like Mechs, but they're just not worth their points (+2)
5) your DF Donar (+4)
6) leave units salvaged because you have VC3 (+4)
7) swarm your ATVs in enemy DZ (+3)
8) should join the box-o-poo (+4) I like Swordsworn but after AOD they are only going to be even worse (unless there are some big rule changes for these guys)
9) Those guys who win those tournaments are not only good army builders, but good players too (+2)
1) Your favorite faction to play is ...
- everything but Stormhammers or Republic (?)
2) Your idea of a well built army contains ...
- the counter to what your opponents had (?)
3) After a venue event, you ...
- talk to friends about strategies, tactics, films, kids (?)
4) You think ...
- Tank drop is just totally lame! (-1)
- But without it vehicles would suck (?)
- I like Mechs, but <edit> MOST </edit> are just not worth their points (?)
- Your venue needs more competition (+3)
5) Your favorite unit is ...
- whichever one(s) I built the army around... (-?)
6) During end-game, you ...
- leave units salvaged because you have VC3 (+4)
7) On your first move, you usually ...
- pog (+3)
- walk your Mech(s) into water (0)
- swarm your ATVs in enemy DZ (+3)
depending on what I fielded so +2?
8) You think Swordsworn Mechs ...
usually ...
- have terrible heat dials (+1)
- are there to attract artillery token and infantry away from what you really want to use and then if still alive get used to kick butt in the end-game (?)
9) Your feelings on the National and World championship are ...
- I couldn't go, but I will hopefully not be having an operation next year (+1)
- Those guys who win <edit>THOSE</edit> tournaments are not only good army builders, but good <edit>and/or lucky</edit> players too (+1)
Maybe I am less scrubby than I thought. (Looks at signature and thinks about losing it... nah! Not yet!!)
I do think that your (very nice, funny and enjoying) test was a bit partial (completely on target), wasn't it? Since, my friend you are the ephitome of Bursc-iness, and a fanatical follower of this contradictory and full-of-bugs (FOB) Game, I would think that a comission should gather and judge your behaviour!
First on your terrible comment:
Quote: "hmmmm ... b*tch and B-Tch ... I think I found a similarity"
What do you mean is that BT is a sexy game, right?! We all agree!
Second on you test:
The worst signal of scubbiness (and thanks for that!) is a person that keeps playing a broken down and dead game as MWDA and keeps thinking about cool ways to win. Exemple to students: Hummm (I'm so bursc...) if I put 3 "#$$%& vehicles in my army, and since they always hit and can't be targeted by VTOls and Artillery and Mechs and just by blind infantry inside water and with at least 3 clicks of damage, I MIGHT VERY WELL WIN!!!!
- Mechs should totally OWN everything so that people will only field Mechs! (-3)
5) Your favorite unit is ...
- a Locust (-5)
6) During end-game, you ...
- charge with my restarted Mech (-1)
7) On your first move, you usually ...
- run your locust(s) up the field (-4)
8) You think Swordsworn Mechs ...
- are fun to play (-2)
9) Your feelings on the National and World championship are ...
- I was going to go, but I didn't feel the trip was worth it (-1)
Total: -18
"- negative 11 to 21: You are a moderate scrub. You feel anything's better than fielding cheese. You hate cheese and will never play anything resembling cheese. You think VTOLs are cheese, artillery is cheese, ATVs are cheese, and Arnis too! You think cheese players should get a life, and never bother your "fun" venue at all. Besides, cheese isn't fun, and the game is all about fun, and MECHS!!"
negative 1 to 10: You like to play for both winning and for fun, but you'd rather get that fellowship prize really ... and don't care if you lose, as long as you lose to a Mech. Oh and cheese is lame, and cheesewarriors suck!
- attitude (the primary quality of scrubhood)
- army composition
- play style
Just because someone always plays faction pure and fields a Mech doesn't guarantee them a scrub because competition is a burcs quality, in not only army construction and play style.
In other words, if you hate cheese, protest cheese, and preach Mech holiness ... but field Mechs and always try to win with them .... you're probably a moderate scrub because:
- your attitude is scrub
- your army is scrub
- your play style is bursc
Most consider me an anti-scrub, but I do have many scrub traits (and never show them unless it's an unrestricted).
Those that end up between the negative 10 and positive 10 most likely have both scrub and burcs qualities ... in other words, they play for both fun and to win, and whichever they prefer more really just depends on their mood, and the company they're with. :)
the scrub attitude can be summed up as the "holier than thou because I fielded more Mechs."
the burcs attitude is "I'm gonna kick your butt any way I can."
Hmmmm. well, heck Will, NOBODY LIKES to lose! Dunno if I can get behind the 'win' thing as a burcs exclusive. Win at absolutely any cost, including VTOL swarming, pog dropping, then using flamers on the remains, OK, maybe burcs. :)
