I personally think that bodyguards who die in the line of duty deserve a win.

I think that townies daykilled by townies deserve a win too.

Seriously though, I agree but with restrictions. I've made roles where if a bodyguard dies protecting a townie, and the protected player goes on to win, the BG wins as well. Of course if the BG dies protecting a neutral/mafia, or if the townie he protected gets killed, all bets are off.

Agree with Anony - well, not on the DK part because it turned out pretty useful to us -and it's how I usually run martyr-style roles in my games.

Yeah, I have mixed feelings about this game.

I was in a tough position claim wise. If I claimed my role, the mafia would know I was a princess and do their best to kill me. So I kind of tried to ensure I'd get lynched, which is why I started a train on (IIRC) Disciple. This was also for the purpose to give the town information, and remove a player who was posting low (and it worked).

On the one hand I'm actually glad Rokk daykilled me - because it gave the Town another solid lynch candidate. On the other hand, I felt like my role had very little chance of winning, and I don't like having a role where my death punishes the town.

So, while I died in the best way possible, I still died.

I'd have liked an alt-win to have won with the town, but only if my character was lynched/day-killed (as benefits the town), and then if the extra day phase was used to nab a bad guy (town unfriendly), and finally - if the town won the game in the end.

Heh, I just realized get_1 was totally telling the truth about being the doctor.

And the Mafia knew it.

And it was still a Town curbstomp.

Makes me wonder why Rokk wasn't killed earlier.

I was wondering that too.

I PM'd malakim the day Rokk (and a whole bunch of others) claimed, being all cheeky about how everyone was asking for doctor protection that wouldn't come.
