Nope, she was one of the handful of characters who had powers without any explanation. That raises an interesting point about SHE-HULK. It was the first time that the MCU established that there are folks with superpowers who are out there just ...hanging out. No big schemes, no big plans, maybe no plans for tomorrow. They're just casually superpowered. Genuinely not sure how I feel about it. It makes the world feel bigger, yes, but it also makes it feel much more banal and trivial in some ways too.

At this point, it sure seems like Marvel could take her in any direction. Lately it seems like Marvel's just establishing a ton of stuff for them to use down the road in whatever makes the most sense for a marketing initiative. It's funny, I did see Titania in a scooper's thread as part of the Thunderbolts' lineup. I'm curious if she'll eventually get there, or if that was just empty clickbaiting.

The only thing Titania is missing is iM: Ignores and Destroys Indoor Blocking Terrain.

See, I'm still wondering if the MCU proper will ever formally acknowledge AoS, as it was made by Marvel Television, with whom there was evidently a contentious rivalry driven by Ike Perlmutter.

I've seen Feige speak very positively about the Marvel Netflix shows, but I've not seen him say anything about AoS beyond, "It's all connected."

We may well get a recast Absorbing Man with new... everything. That might wind up being for the best if it gets a fully functioning Hulk mythos like we've been sorely lacking.

I think I saw a rumor recently that Agents of Shield might be coming back.

Come to think of it, I've heard rumors too. I haven't seen anything from a reliable source yet, but I bet SECRET INVASION and ARMOR WARS will reveal what Marvel's plans for AoS might be.
