That's the nice thing about the LPC. No matter how long you've been gone, we will always welcome you back.
Last week I started a new job and I'm working over 50 hours a week (yay overtime). I rarely get on the realms anymore, but during the day I can lurk with my cellphone. The only reason I can post right now is that I am starting late today.

I used to work at a job with the most bizarre overtime policy.
First of all, I was a salaried worker, so calculating overtime hours was just weird to start.
Secondly, you weren't paid overtime until you hit 45 hours, but then it would roll back to the 40 and you would get those first extra five paid.
Finally, you had to have worked at least one day with two hours of the basic eight. In other words, if I worked five 9 hour days, there would be no overtime, but if I worked one 10 hour day, one 8 hour day, and three 9 hour days there would be 5 hours of overtime.
45 hours is 45 hours as far as I (and pretty much every other employee) was concerned. Tres bizarre.

Most states have Laws about OT, and salaried OT can be strange.
I am Salaried, but my contract states when my OT kicks in(55 Hours).
Most weeks are 40 to 50 hours weeks, and if I do go over 55 to get my OT pay I have to document it with a log.
So one of the players at our venue is moving and is paring down is collection before he does as such here is a trade thread for him of carded stuff http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=369838 he also has a bunch of un-cared stuff if folks have specifics wants I'll make a list to give him to check.

In a previous life when I was salaried, we didn't get OT. Being salaried was just a nice way to squeeze more work out of employees (and more responsibility) without having to pay them the OT. Every organization is different. Now where I work they want us to fill out our time cards to the nearest 10th of an hour, anything over 40 hours in a week is OT, and we get paid weekly. So if I work from 7am to 5:36pm, I'll take out a half hour for lunch and get 10.1 hours. If I did this for 5 days, that will be 50.5 hours. 10.5 of which is OT. The manager even says if we punch in at 6:57am and punch out at 5:33pm, that is still getting 10.1hours (taking the 3 extra minutes at the beginning and end and combining for a 1/10th of an hour). Every bit counts and adds up as far as I'm concerned in this position.
