I'm guessing he is banking on making both leadership rolls with this. Very dicey.
Can you get two extra actions for two successful leadership rolls? I thought you only ever get one extra action. This could have changed since last I checked.

Yes, you can.

bm055 The Insider + UB (full) (114)
bm202a Bruce Wayne (50)
d10-006 Batgirl (42)
d10-007 Nightwing (94)
TOTAL: 300
Insider covers 20 squares in one action (18 if carrying a character moved into position before P/T) between Bruce's TK, and P/T with Perplex and the UB (+2).

But what's the point in getting across the board if you can't attack that turn?

If this was anything but the metagame thread, I would say that "because you can" is a perfectly valid reason. But considering the particular topic, it's probably not a good strategy.

Because Leech makes it way harder for them to attack either. Wait, on his team you mean? Oh, I'm not sure.
So the UB reminds me of how Metron/NC was a very good team, but you had these extra points and well... there was debate, a Nurse, or nothing so you don't give them easy points etc... then the Gauntlet and the debate was settled.
Well, I think Uatu/Unspoken is a really potent team poised to wreck a lot of teams, but you know, all you had to go with it was Astral Strange who is ok, but nothing awe inspiring. Now we have the UB the perfect use of the extra points. Now all we need is for a new Leech to go with Insider...hmmm...

jtallday- Jon I wouldn't challenge you if I wasn't sure you are wrong cuz I don't have that kind of energy.
I'm failing to see the excitement with Uatu/Unspoken. What's the secret sauce I am missing?
I'll pretend you've never seen the team played...
Ok, Unspoken gives Battle Fury and prevents power actions from being used by anyone within 3 squares. Obviously the key to this is positioning. Uatu can start the game almost anywhere on the board. 24 rows, starting area's usually 2 deep, so Unspoken starts at 23, he can move 9 on turn 1 to 14, Uatu sits at 12/13 picks up Unspoken and carries him 8 or 9 with perplex so ends at 4 (or 3), and can place Unspoken in front of himself, so row 3 (or 2) range 3 to the power, means map is covered turn 1. This was the "Answer" to the Sentry/Void and Chanos teams at IG Month 8.
Then it gets better, so Unspoken shuts down most/all of the opponents figures, no power actions (no Charge, Multi-Attack, RS, HSS) and no Ranged Combat Attacks, then on the lowest elevation Unspoken is Stealthed. Next turn Unspoken can charge in with a Heavy, and if positioned correctly, Uatu can then pick him up and move him back 1 square, out of retaliation range.
Now, this is a good team. It absolutely wrecks Ventry and almost any One Primary Attacker teams. It does less against your 3-4 Attackers teams (Avengers) but can still win. Ok, now give Unspoken the ability to get rid of TA's with the UB, ability to spin it to +2 stats or Flurry if he doesn't need to get over there asap. Now he can move in turn 3, and be ready to attack for huge damage on turn 4, and as Uatu is colossal he can keep pushing, and when the opponent is pushed out, either Gas Pellet or Charge.
I'm not sure I got all the subtleties but I think I covered most of it.
