Yeah, it really seems like chivalry is dead.

So I took advantage of the snowday Monday and watched my share of Netflix.

Cloverfield Paradox sucked. I loved both the previous movies with Cloverfield titles, but this one was not even average, then had the tacked on Cloverfield tie-ins. No spoilers, but if anyone else cares enough to discuss we can chat further.

Iron Fist, on the other Hand, has been better so far than what I expected. I'm on the beginning of the 5th episode. Not Daredevil Season 1 quality, but better than the drubbing some people gave it.

after watching Defenders, I hold that iron fist suffered because half the season was set up for defenders so it couldn't just be Ironfist. It was more pre-defenders featuring Danny Rand.

Dinner was delicious. Funny enough we were at a thrift store when the mention of trombones came up. Apparently there is a room in the back for trying out musical instruments.

That's an interesting angle. You may be on to something with that. However, some of that acting is just plain bad, and the some of those fight scenes are just horrible.

no denying that but the story could have been a lot more concise. a little more corporate espionage meets kung-fu rather than what we got.

That's disappointing to hear. I was considering checking that out over the weekend, time permitting.
