I don't know if I told you guys, but my wife got a part-time job at the Avenger's S.T.A.T.I.O.N. here in Vegas. She's agent Munroe. I'm still waiting for her to get me in to see it.
The smoking hot mail lady was working today when I mailed off my trade stuff.
I feel like a winner.
Try mailing some suggestively shaped items (but check to see who's serving first without looking like you're casing the joint) to see what reaction you get.

I bet you ask her to wear her work clothes to bed

That's disappointing to hear. I was considering checking that out over the weekend, time permitting.
I would not go so far as to say everyone will absolutely hate it, or that it’s a total waste of time, but I definitely would’ve preferred to watch either of the Cloverfields again.

In my school days we had either two hour delays, two hour early dismissals, or cancellations. (Theoretically there were one hour variants of the delays and dismissals as there were schedules posted for those events. I just don't recall ever having those occur.)
The reasons that these things would occur were snow. (I presume something like a power outage would also do it.)
Temperature was never a factor. We never canceled school because it was cold.
It happens around here all of the time now. It's utter horse crap.
First of all, they try to pawn it off on the buses. "Oh, the buses won't start in the low temperatures."
That a complete lie. I know the manager of one of the area bus garages. He says it's total BS, and it actually pisses him off that they throw...um...the buses under the bus on this.
The real reason is that they feel it is too cold for kids to be at the bus stops. There's a risk that there would be children who don't want to wear a coat, and, of course, you can't expect parents to actually do any parenting, so it falls to the school to do the ineffective parents' jobs for them.
So they cancel school because the temperature means that it's dangerous to expect kids to stand outside for five to ten minutes waiting for a bus. Instead we'll cancel school...so they can have an entire day to go play outside.
And early dismissals are a thing of the past. That is because there has to be an adult there when the children are dropped off, and there's no guarantee that the time change would allow for that to happen.
