I'd tell him that you cannot continue with a decrease in pay, and that you consider yourself valuable enough to either be considered technical (unless that means something specific here) or exempt from the cuts.

It sounds like you are pretty vital to operations.

And then get looking regardless, no matter what action he takes. Place (or owner) is not stable.

Technical/Technician is a specific term to M0t0r0la as someone who installs/repairs equipment and has to have at least a ETA- Journeyman Certification.

I used be a Tech back before I moved into management.

Already found a couple things, but all come with at least a 20% or more paycut. Guess it is time to tighten the belt again.

My H/W is correct, just started it such as it is.

Adding to it any evening wife wants to watch Ellen, Some Amish show or anything on E! on the Tivo.

My Wants are up to date. My haves are not.

The funny part is I actually have the box from my SS so I know he didn't get me... unless this is all part of his plan to throw me off!

In other news, I received my LPCSSE package this weekend and it's got a bunch of "fragile" (prounounced frah-jee-lay) stickers on it, so I'm thinking "Cool, it must be Italian!"
