Finally, it should be noted that Johns undoes the pointless death of Bart Allen in Issue #3. That was a far more pointless death than Threeboot Sun Boy, and it seems to me to be a step in the right direction.
Very important point. And it looks like the "Earth-1 Legion" is going to be the default Legion now. Which is kinda nice if they can just STICK TO IT.
Really, I like the Legion somewhat (not a huge fan), and the reason I'm not a bigger fan is because they keep changing the continuity all over the place and never keeping it consistent.
Anyway, Bart's death was utter carp, and it's good that he's back.
"Boo!" indeed.

The one character that needs to die in this probably won't, and that would be Superboy Prime. I wouldn't be adverse to the death of Sodam Yat, who doesn't even need to be involved in the story.
I disagree about SB Prime needing to die. Needs to live. He's a good character with a number of possibilities for useage in storylines.
Sodam needs to die, if only because he's got that name.

He's way too powerful. Power levels at DC have gotten ridiculous.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.
After killing a Guardian in Sinestro Corps War, he absorbed a lot of energy. That energy turned him temporarily into an adult and moved him into an alternate universe (which was what we saw in Countdown). After Prime exhausted that energy, he turned back into a boy.
Thank you!
about write a story with a dead... welll after write and play so many Mafia Games I can't see a story without a dead.

I agree. I can see taking Conner place and have all the guilt for what happen, what happen if Wonder Girl or somebody fall in love with him, after all he may look like Conner, but in the same time he is Conner' Killer. so many good stories posibilities...
Also, what will happen when ...
SPOILERS:
when Black Lantern Superman Kal-L returns! WHO you think he will go after? what happen if Superboy Prime have depenption? in what side of good and evil Prime and Kal-L will be? and for how long?....

True he was way too powerful, after he sucked up the energy from a guardian, but, as Alex Luthor noted, Prime's power levels seem to have been decreasing as he interacted more with the then-current universe. If it weren't for the boost from the guardian, he probably wouldn't be nearly as powerful as he is now, and he's lost most of the guardian energy.

From what I understand, the Black Lanterns will be devoid of emotion, so, he probably wouldn't care about Prime all that much.
I'm fairly mortified (no pun intended) that they are bringing back Kal-L as a Black Lantern, as it just seems like they want to continually drag the character through the mud. I'd have rather they stayed in paradise considering what's happened to all em them since they broke free.
However, maybe something good can come of it. I dunno. I'm skeptical.

I Agree. Kal-L is too iconic to be use like that, I even don't like him a lot bringing him back in Infinite Crisis, it was too risky, and some people think he can be manipulate or can be evil because of that. It's too dangerous to use a "holly" characters for fans like Him. The idea is interesting, but they are playing with big guns, it's a risky move. I hope they do this with respect, but looking in Sinestro Corps war they put a lot of respect in Prime, Anti-Monitor, Parallax and Cyrborg Superman, and make them even better, if Kal-l will return in that way, and his memory as Hero can become better, that would be good.
Let's see what happen. Because the ONLY reason of why I dislike Kal-L is because HEROCLIX MAKE A FREAKING CHASE FIG WITH HIM!!
The post-Zero-hour Legion got all the best lines, and it really looked as if some effort was made to show them with spunk, wit and heart.
I suppose I am a bit of a LSH snob, but I just don't see Mordru teaming up with the LSV, and I can't really imagine the Fatal Five participating as they are shown to be....I especially think that the Fatal Five would be willing to team up with the Legion(s) to try to take out Prime.
I'm still worried that Johns is going to turn the Earth-1 Luthor into the Time Trapper.:P

I was hoping the Time Trapper would turn out to be Alex Luthor.
And if they had a way to hold Time Trapper in place, would they call it "The Trapper Keeper" ???
Seriously, when did Friday the Thirteenth become the template for storytelling in comics? Does somebody have to die in every story told in comics now? How limited is our imagination that the only way a story can be appreciated is with a specific amount of gore?
I'll give Geoff Johns credit, he's a better story teller then Loeb, Bendis and Straczynski combined. Unfortunately, he's trapped in the "I need a sacrificial lamb" mode of storytelling.
This has become a cliche, Michelinie and Stern never needed that crutch.

I Think, Especially with Prime, Death is not used as a plot point. Its used to make the comics a touch more realistic and a Touch more Serious
I mean how can you have, SUPER POWERED COSMIC WAR? and everyone is A-Ok Issue Five?
it just seems like a cop out.
Maybe if Prime was the only one doing the killing, and only killing MAJOR characters I could see the point you were trying to make.
But its ALL OUT WAR, characters from all Walks are killing and being killed.
