Or throw a person with Defend with him. Or Support, which is even meaner. Or play BFCs like Deep Shadows or Shrunk. Or keep Outwitters handy. Seriously- he's much less than half your standard build, which is what lots of people forget about many figures. Most teams are not just one man armies.

You know, you could team him up with any other Asgardians for theme bonus and support. For instance:

Ulik 118
+lunge
+And Stay Down
+Shellhead
Valkyrie 38
Loki 122
=299 pts with Asgardian theme bonuses

You could easily get rid of Ulik's feats for BrillTac on Lokshe if you wanted, and still have a great build, but with lunge and a perplexed speed Ulik can hit anyone 9 or fewer squares away for 6 damage. With Valkyrie to carry and heal him he should be plenty dangerous.

I tried to use him as MM fodder for my SR Loki, but instead of even trying to hit the 18 Loki has, my opponent smartly chose to just attack Ulik instead. His biggest problem has nothing to do with PB or EW, and has everything to do with his low Comic accurate to be sure (not too smart Rock troll getting smashed in the face, doesn't bother to try to dodge) but not conducive to a long life span in this game.

Honestly, he's made to be a 'tent pole' figure in a 300 point game, that can be supported with more than just a TKer. In that role, he's excellent. Even giving him Fortitude (a waste IMO) or Repulsor Shield (that's the 25 points I'd give him) he's still less than 150 points, and can be the back bone of any team at 300 or 400 points, with plenty left over.

If your Ulik is being based and then attacked by bystanders, I have to ask - what the heck are you doing with your Rock Trolls? Those bystanders should be dust before they get a chance to swing at Ulik.
