LIMITLESS RAGE: Hulk can use Toughness. Hulk ignores all damage dealt to him unless it is dealt by an attack and the attack roll is doubles, but not a critical miss. Friendly characters cannot use Probability Control during an attack that targets Hulk. This power can't be countered or ignored.
You know, it never ceases to amaze me that people online can't understand something this simple. Did you make an attack roll on the hulk? No? Guess what, Hulk takes no Damage. After talking to a local judge about this issue, he brought out his laptop and showed me this.
Mystics
When a character using the Mystics team ability takes damage from an attack, the attacker is dealt 1 unavoidable damage. This damage is not an attack.
So according to that judge Hulk takes no damage.
I'm tired of hearing someone come up with a hair brained move because some idiot posted it on HCRealms. I could post that I can use Crisis Darkseid's special omega effect to move galactus and someone would try it because it's posted here. If you have a question involving the wording or legality of an issue, take it up with your local judge. If you are playing in an actual Wizkids-Neca event, prepare properly. If the judge says hulk takes no mystics damage, go with the original team build. If the judge says no way Jose, then go with an alternate. It's not really that difficult.

but it specifically says he's not damge by critical misses. or is that just ones against him. cuz that would make sense seeing he's not hit by a crit miss against him. maybe its for madness bfc.
It says that opponents don't hit him with a critical miss. Arguably, this is unnecessary text, but given the special circumstances, we'll let it fly.
Critical miss damage is unavoidable damage. Unavoidable damage cannot be ignored. Hulk's SP ignores stuff, so it cannot avoid unavoidable damage. Nothing in the game can, to my knowledge.

The part I highlighted in red is incorrect. The definition of unavoidable damage is
Quote
Damage dealt that can’t be evaded, reduced, modified, ignored, or transferred to a different character.
Unavoidable damage cannot be ignored, so Hulk cannot ignore it.

Are you saying that Darkseid can't place Galactus with his Omega Effect? Because he can. There's nothing in the power that limits it to certain characters, so by all means, zap Galactus from one side of the map to another.

I've been told by no less than three judges that I cannot do that. Two were at local venues and the other was at a Larger event in Saint Louis.

Critical miss damage is unavoidable damage. Unavoidable damage cannot be ignored. Hulk's SP ignores stuff, so it cannot avoid unavoidable damage. Nothing in the game can, to my knowledge.
Here is the under lying question
Is damage dealt as a result of a critical miss considered damage from an attack
The power states ALL DAMAGE so I'm inclined to go with that wording
It's been a while, but the reasons they gave where the size of the Phoenix, Galactus and Spectre, (All where in that fight) couldn't be moved. I told them it wasn't like tk, but they said Colossi cannot be moved. Apparently using the word "Put" was the same as "move" back then.
My main point as far as the hulk def power goes is that you have to do one of two things. Either convince your local judge how the power is legally worded to work, or prepare a second team in case you fail to do so.

The word "put" has never been synonymous with "move" that I can recall. It is the same as "place," and I think it always has been. Even then, I don't recall anything in the rules for those figures that say they can't be moved.

Suttkus is correct. It's real simple:
Hulk's power ignores all damage, that is unless the damage cannot be ignored. Unavoidable damage cannot be ignored.
Look at some of the previous posts, several Deputies have already agreed on this point.

So...Hulk can critical miss and KO himself. Attacking a Mystic will KO him. And somehow possibly getting pushed will KO him. Otherwise no other damage besides an attack with doubles will hurt him.
Got it.

Not just mystics, but all unavoidable damage.

I think the part that isn't being driven home is, for me at least, how does what Mystics and other unavoidable damage states trump what the power states? Its just that when a power reads there is only one way a character can be dealt damage, why is it not true? Why does it not read "except for unavoidable damage" if that is what the designer desired? It should have printed in the power description exactly what it means. As written, all(which by default includes unavoidable) damage that is not dealt from an attack in which the attack roll was doubles is ignored.
I know what the explaination is, I've read what you guys are saying, but still.

For the same reason Outwit no longer says Once per Turn, because it is not needed.
Hulk can ignore all damage (unless it is dealt by an attack and the attack roll is doubles, but not a critical miss).
Unavoidable Damage cannot be ignored.
Hulk cannot ignore Unavoidable Damage.
Any Unavoidable Damage is still taken.
Mystics feedback = KO

Right.
Consider this: If you (and by "you" I mean anyone reading this) are okay with this power NOT being ignored by PW (since the power says it can't be ignored), why then does the similar declaration of anti-ignorability from unavoidable damage carry any less weight?
