My one problem with this Mysterio (all Mysterios, actually) is a serious lack of keywords. I know he's really only a part of the Sinister Syndicate, but come on, can we at least get like, Celebrity or something? He's a special effects artist, you'd think he'd get Celebrity sooner than freaking Thor does...Scientist might work too, he's gotten that one exactly once. Every other time his only keyword has been Sinister Syndicate...

...Interesting, though I wonder why the trait couldn't simply have said "15 point Mysterio begins on Click #9"; failing that, why isn't the Gold KO on Click 8, instead of a Red KO click being in-between the Gold KO and the 2nd Click #1?

Yeah, as stuff sinks in I begin to see that. Still confused at the placement of the Gold KO click, though. Click #8 (which is right next to the second #1) wants to be the Gold KO; Don't see the logic of having it on #7...

EDIT: Eh, I suppose some people might be careless enough in clicking to leave a bit of Click #8 showing, but really if they're gonna flaw the illusion that way, that should be their problem!

Neat, even in a home game where I play both sides, I can put say 3 Mysterio to thier starting lines then mix them up and even I wouldn't know which one is real.

I love the sculpt and think some great creativity was implemented here. That said...I don't know if I like it or not for my own tastes. That we can apparently expect another via the GF/CTD has me wondering if I might PERSONALLY prefer that dial. Still, I give the designers credit for this one even if it isn't quite for me.

It took me a little while to figure out why he had two click #1s. Then I finally realized. Your opponent won't know which Mysterio is which. At all. They have no idea until they manage to hit him. That's so awesome.

I don't usually play with Spider-Man villains. This piece may just change that. Even if I never use it, it sure looks nice.

im super stoked for the spiderman set, especially the sinister syndicate, but this mysterio is just ok for me. hes not competitive in the least. i do love the "fun" aspect of playing multiples and confusing the hell out of my opponent. i pre-ordered a case already. hoping to get at least 3 mysterio and at least one of each member of the sinister syndicate. im a spidey villan fan and my buddy is a spidey fan, these give us a chance to do a web head vs the sinister 6 battle. still too new to the game to ever had a chance with wos

then you could play him with wos#46 Jackal.
Jackal has Mastermind and is 72 points.

Nit-pick aside, you're right. This isn't any more of a "mechanic" than any other SP/Trait.

This is my only complaint about him. I'd like to further the intrigue.

Starro from the JL set has 2 traits. I believe he was the first, although I think they weren't called traits until the FF starter.
