"Nice work," Sabretooth said. "I like your style." He dashed across the overpass to Comedian, laying into him with his claws.

"Can't say the same about you," the Thing said.

"Bah! Enough talk!" Blastaar decided, shooting at Avalanche.

That was a harsh turn for me. Let's see what the die rolls. 9, Crazy 9s. You get my Avalanche (now with 2 damage from the Thing) and I get Polaris. One mutant for another.

Wasp to break? 4. Flies to S7.

In retrospect, yeah, Fate and the Hulk are potentially a stalemate that could last all game. You can't hurt Hulk unless you can use Psychic Blast, while he needs to base you. You Phase, I follow, lather rinse repeat. Unless one of us chooses to push, and I've got to roll an 8 twice to hit you. Hmmm.

I roll a 9. Maybe that will break the stalemate. My #1 for your #8, and in fact, that's exactly what happens. I get Fate and I hand you back Avalanche who will promptly get stomped into the ground by the Hulk.
