It would be nice, in addition to making ATA's, if there was a way to make feat cards and battlefield conditions.

Started working on a card for Valiant's Eternal Warrior.

Next up: Harry Dresden

A while back, I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a 1.5" hole punch for when I printed a dial. Only trick has been lining up the cutter with the target.

I have been trying to use uploaded images for set symbols and miniature pics but it is not displaying them. They are PNGs on transparent backgrounds. They are loaded to Google Pictures.

Are there any special settings needed?

The only thing I can think of is that maybe your pictures are not public on google photo. In order for the tool to download and use your picture, the png must be on a public url.

To try your png just open another browser of your usual one (in order to not be logged in google for exemple) and past the url. If your picture display correctly then it can be used on HCTools.

It took me awhile to figure this one out too, because I wanted to use custom set symbols as well. First, they have to be small files. Second, if you upload them to imgur, they should work perfectly.

Created an imgur account today and uploaded the images I wanted to use. But they are still not showing up when I add the url to the card. I have made sure the account is public, just in case

Just tried it and it still works.

For symbol you just have to past the url in the field (then click outside the field to refresh the preview).

For miniature picture, past the url (then click outside the field to refresh the preview). Then you have to draw on the main picture a selection with your mouse (just try you will understand).


If your picture is still not displaying can you post here the urls so I can check your pictures. They must be PNG.

It's working now. Looks like I was using the wrong url.

This is a great tool.

I'm having a bit of trouble with the card section. I can make them just fine but I can't save them. I click the button, it highlights and then does nothing.

I am registered and have tried both chrome and edge with no luck.

I've tried it and I can save dials.

I guess, some fields must be missing.

Just take a look again at yours fields, missing ones must be outlined with red line.
(I agree this lack of alert)

You must fill number and name at least for cards to save. Only those 2 are mandatory.

And I use Chrome mostly so I can guarantee it works on it.
