Don't have cable and haven't gotten around to streaming it. It's on the list.

It's been...not entirely engaging. Making names into Phantom Zone Prisoners, the moments that are too reminiscient of the SNL spoof of a "Black Widow" movie trailer...those haven't won me over (and some pretty dumb stuff ).

Also, I'll just say it: I can deal just fine with Jimmy Olson's race change. However, making him buff, older and wise just makes him far too different and part of a ridiculous love triangle.

That said, there have been moments. I like how they show she has a lot to learn and there is solid acting from most of the cast. The Big Bad makes sense and, hey, it's truer to anything from the Superman Mythos than anything we've seen on a screen in over a decade. Heck, this Kara reminds me of pre-CoIE and not the Superbrat given to us by Loeb so there's hope.

I think the show has the seeds of improvement and I'll give it more time. It didn't instantly win me like Flash or Constantine but I'm not writing it off.

That seems to jive with what I've heard. I don't have the same familiarity or attachment to Supergirl as info with Superman, so it may be awhile yet before k actually watch it. Give it some time to come into its own...

So is Supergirl part of the arrowverse or is it its own thing?

It's own thing, but they are run by same team and advertise for eachother during their shows.

I'm hoping Supergirl makes a 15 second cameo on The Flash through on of their 52 dimensional rifts

They are trying to make it happen. I hope so too.

I'm responding to a discussion going on in Gira's game. I was the person who asked about the wording of powers. I just forgot how that would have been against the rules and I apologize to all the people it annoyed or offended, and mostly to IR, the mod of the game I did it in. It won't happen again.

Don't worry too much Truffle. I think the best approach is to warn rather than modkill and foam at the mouth about how wrong or right it is. My supposition is that everyone who plays wants to play by the rules and most violations are accidental or innocent in intent.

I have mafia game ideas kicking around in my head with game mechanics involving trying to get other players modkilled.

I think I get accused of attempting that as a strategy every three games or so.
